  2. He put a great deal of money into design, development and packaging of this SPL driver. I liked the v2 prototype a great deal for how well it did in daily for being an SPL biased driver. The good thing is that the production version is improved and has more power handling.
  3. This will be crazy loud.

Luckily I have an MS1000TA! Dave Edwards, a fellow member on here, is building his SQ competition car, and the front stage will be powered off an MS1000.
  5. Thanks for that, we try to keep a really laid back atmosphere here.

I would love have just a single MS amp to have in my collection.
  7. Who will be the magpie going stag to the mag party?
  8. Nip / Tuck!!
  9. Do it to it Matt. I am sorry to hear that, but glad that you found out now instead of 10 years down the road.
  10. Jim, I promise I will join up, I am just very busy and need to get my music organized.
  11. I think I replied in your other thread. Anyway, I say build one to optimal, then add stuffing as needed.
  12. If you are considering the Minilith, (very nice amp, I want one bad) there are very few left and they will not be made again.
  13. Trey, as I mention to many other people, what I usually try is optimal sealed box designs first. Mess with adding some polyfill stuffing to find the sound you want. Then if the output is lacking for your needs, look towards ported. There are plenty of drivers I have kept sealed.
  14. IS that a cross between an astronaut and Boba Fet?
  15. I get those to my mail personal email daily.
  16. Thanks for the replies. Haha, anyway, sir Stephen Mantz was kind enough to track down the old model numbers for me. Might try to rival Sir Ramos in cheapest install for daily beater, I will not come close in clarity.
  17. On this day in 1971, the AEC tested the largest U.S. underground hydrogen bomb--code-named Cannikin--on Amchitka Island in the Aleutians. In 1947, Meet The Press made its television debut. In 1944, Plutonium was first produced at the Hanford Atomic Facility, subsequently used in the Fat Man Atomic bomb dropped on Nagasaki, Japan. In 1935, the Hawker Hurricane made its first flight; and before the New York section of the Institute of Radio Engineers, Edwin Armstrong presented his paper, "A Method of Reducing Disturbances in Radio Signaling by a System of Frequency Modulation" (i.e. FM radio). Happy Birthday Rebecca Romijn and Thandie Newton (1972), Ethan Hawke (1970), Trace Beaulieu (1958), Maria Shriver (1955), Glenn Frey (1948), Sally Field (1946), Mike Nichols (1931), and inventors James Naismith (1861-1939) and Adolphe Sax (1814-1894). 18. Shaving off the beard, Tech Expo time. Oh well, it was fun while it lasted.
  19. Steveo beat me too it.
  20. Update, Boss called back, no one there knew what models they were. But I did find a Spanish site with specs in English, but not sure how accurate it is: Older box amp link
  21. I need some help finding out the models of Boss Audio amps that ZED audio built back in 1997 - 2000. Been searching on and off for a little bit, but was just wondering if anyone might know off hand. And yes I already called Boss, waiting for one last guy to call back.
