I am not going to give too much info out, but when a certain friendly small one man company is losing money on a deal for more then one sub and people complain about the price on top of it, I get a little tweaked.

They are nothing compared to the PeeFReeees'.

I doubt there will be much difference between the two. Both are big strong amps, and big strong amps needs current to produce power. But if you do the Big3 and battery upgrade you will be fine. I am biased towards the Sundown, but the Kicker is a fine choice also.

Both are good drivers, both will do well with 1000 watts from the Sundown. I have experience with both and like both, but they have a slightly different sound from each other.

Why those two amps?

More tweeters does not always mean louder. Usually a well placed single pair of tweeters and mid ranges will be plenty loud with a good amp behind them.

I agree with Jim and ///M5, the Sundown amps and Fi subs are excellent, but you should also consider the other portion of the sound being produced.
