  1. Seems like a yearly tradition.
  2. You afraid of overpowering them? Just keep the signal clean and you should be fine. yeah i was. now im afraid they wont come dual4 Scott has stated on a few occasions that all three lines have been beefed up and upgraded. He rates very conservative on the rms, meaning a lower rms does not make it a worse sub in the slightest.
  3. I agree with Jim, and I am curious what about the other speakers and amps?
  4. You came to the right place. We have loads of technical info in the Tech section and advanced topics section.
  5. .......................... (speechless)
  6. LOL! I wish I could go to the nudy bar, but I guess you didn't read that whole the wife is with me part did ya? Oh, no worries, my time in Tampa has ran its course and I'll be heading back to the STL tomorrow morning. Can't wait to be back home. Tampa was fun, but its really no place like home. Glad you had a good time, heck my wife loves to go to strip clubs.
  7. Ok, now I really need to hear it.
  8. Well between the 3 lines, pretty much every segment is covered. So just pin pointing the needs you want for that install will really narrow down the choices, but by making a small assumption I am guessing the Q 12, ICON 12D2, and Havoc 12 are your possible targets.
  9. Very nice work!!!
  10. Jacob, do you have any cooked ones that the heat sink could be sacrificed?
  11. Big enough to not need to get the dremel out.
  12. Yes we have a shop connected to this forum. As for more than 2000, the 1500D will do well but if you want that much power the 3000D might be the way to go.
  13. As soon as I can build the spacers for the civic....
  14. The box is 52hz. I am wondering if I could go larger or just need to hop up to 4 of them next year.
  15. Yikes loud!
  16. Now if you could copy that box but scale it down for 10's
  17. I forgot that the Suitland event was yesterday or I would have driven over. You're always welcome in Westminster for beer and some tunes. I need someone with a good ear and real experience to tell if I have it dialed in properly (sounds great to me!). P.S. What you don't see is the table saw with extended fence, compound miter saw, jointer, planer, and drill press. I might have to post pics of the rest of the shop. I could not make Suitland, Saturday did not go as planned and so I had to miss the competition yesterday. Still Terry was there and put up a 156.6 in street A, which means I would be a repeat performance for me from the last show. His car is really well done, and he has far more skill/experience then I, so my chances locally in A while he is competitive are kaputz. But this year is not a serious push more so testing and getting back into it, #1 not having the power and #2 not having the time or the money to dump into the civic sort of hurts.
  18. Glad it is straight now! I think I need to build for a pair of 10's and show what numbers they can do, even though that is not the intent of the driver.
  19. I would love to hear it, and heck if I knew you had a nice work shop I might have come over.
  20. It would help to know the peak freq. of your vehicle. Then you can go from there.
  21. Thought you were going to load the subs against the drivers side and forward. Either way, its going to be loud!!
  22. Love the user name, but I have not played with that sub yet to know for sure.
