  1. Hello Steve-o
  2. Lots of fluids!!!
  3. definitely, I'll let you know -John
  4. How is your swing after all these years.
  5. Jacob, our civic is a 96 and the battery location is back against the fire wall.
  6. Yeah I think the SD-1 12 ported is great for someone who does not want to spend much cash but wants a decent street beat type of install on lower power.
  7. What about the SSD and Q? Those are both SQ subs. I believe he meant by that they are different in spec, voice coils, power handling, no customization on AA's and price.
  8. Hint... they throw down hard ported, tuned low Rich was kind enough to build a box to my specs for the SD-1s tuned in the 30s. I also tested them in a double flared box my brother built tuned dead on at 30 Hz and a bit larger than the one Rich made for me and the extension was even lower. That box was a bit large for my application, though, as I stuff my trunk full of amps every day The SD-1 is a keeper. I will be running two of the 10" SD-1s on a daily basis in my primary car if that tells you anything. What about something along the lines for HA, something really low like 22hz? The 12 specs to be a sweet one in sealed, but can't tell until tested.
  9. Yes please, pictures and review for the review section!! Glad to hear a good review on the SD-1, the specs on the 10's look nice. Would love to test them in a small ported tuned way low.
  10. Ok uploaded them to my gallery.
  11. Check on DIYma there is a review of the IDQ and MAW-15 that might help out in your decision.
  12. Used to, don't have the left knee to plant and shoot like I used to.
  13. Since 4 years old. So that would me 26 years, crap that sounds like an eternity. It is an addiction, and if I could play 2 games a night I would. I have to say that my sheer speed and quickness off the ball has dropped a great deal since having my left knee fully rebuilt and bulking up over 215lbs. I am glad you were able to put some serious power to it. That is way more than I have on tap. With that design, I have seen the sub to be pretty abuse tolerant. Mark has beat the living crap out of his 15's and my prototype has dealt well in a variety of boxes and power levels. Really looking forward to your POV on the sub.
  14. Soccer game last night was fun. My monday night league is a co-ed league and the games can get interesting. I am used to a very intense high level of soccer but co-ed throws that all out the window. It is funny because I am forced to play sweeper or we would be killed every game pretty much, but it means little scoring for me. But last night I was able to sneak up the field and rip a few shots. Scared the living crap out of the keeper on my second shot, you could see him close his eyes and pray he did not get it in the face. Tehe
  15. I still vote for 4 MJ 18's IB in the bat cave.
  16. Hey John, I am really happy you like the sub. The low end solid output is from the heavy copper coil and a well build box. for Kent too. When it breaks in more, would you mind doing a little review? Also would you want to put a few pictures up for the rides page?
  17. My Orion shuts off the deck because of weak signal for burps so the gain had to be higher.
  18. I like the idea of a 6 channel, but I think the market is growing smaller for them. I might need to snatch up a JBL 755.6 GTO II just to have it in case. Few people actually run active, while most people desire more power than the average 6/7 channel can do on the sub channels. Jacob, I think a viable option would be to merge a 100.4 and 1000D under a 3000D heat sink. SAX-100.5 ? As for a 250.4, not sure if people will really buy a larger 4 channel than the SAX-100.4. There are plenty of people running the 100.4 for their entire system.
  19. If interested in Sundown PM me.
  20. I feel the MAW-15 is a solid sub and killer for the money. Hard to beat for the price, so much that you could try it out and if you don't like it sell it and get something else.
  21. moving to sundown section
