They both have top notch build quality. As for out put the MAG is built to take more power, but once again its in the install. The MAG is a top end sub for sure, few come close. I am not going to make any outlandish claims about the ICON before it has even hit the market. I would rather its performance speak for itself.
I agree with all the above suggestions. With an 8" sub and 200 watts your not going to be blowing the box apart. So you should be fine.
At what ohm load?
A ZX 1000.1 would be a great starting point for 2 ohm 1k watt amp.
I am a fan of the US "A" series. Love those, still have one, want more, no money, sad.
