It was a fun show, got to meet a few of the people on the forum. I had some serious gremlins before the show and was barely able to compete. If it was a bigger show I would have been DQ'd for my H/U sticking out of the dash. But the Mach5 driver did well for a box tuned way too low and not enough port area. Did a 138.3 second round but for some reason it did not show up in the brackets and oddly they just passed my 1st round score of 137.9. Thanks goes out to Randy and the rest of the Underground Audio crew for helping me swap head units with some screwed up in dash wiring. I have the itch again, so I might try to get a new box built asap and order a new HU too.

Panic rush this morning getting ready for competition. Is it bad luck if there is a dead mouse in your box? Screw bit jammed into drill, hand screwing everything, jigsaw blade went screwy on me, cut out a little too big. Can you say leaky SOB? If I break 145 I will be happy, but for some reason I don't see that happening today. Ok I am off, might put the ICON on the mic too.

Ramos, I am really sorry to hear that, more so because of the amplifiers that were jacked. Make Matt be the photographer. I could sacrfice a 250a2 and 125a2 if you need amps to compete asap.

I sold one, and I still have another, its in my 300 at the moment. It has never been past 1/8 gain, seriously. Only probelm is a scratch on the top of the amp. My plan was to go with two smaller ZED amps, the Orion is a ton of power and eats up a bunch of my trunk in my car.

Its hard to say, I am not sure that the amp will do ratted power.

Better then the Orion? Um will be close. But worth fixing? Yeah.

Deka's are popular because they are a great bang for the buck. I am a fan of SVR's and optima's. Kinetik are popular because they are monsters but are not cheap.
