  1. Good review, can you repost a copy in the product review section here?
  2. Good job, you should repost a copy of this in the new build log section here.
  3. I would pass on the wall also, maybe a pair of 15's or 4 12's
  4. This is going to be a hard choice.
  5. I like loyds Logo idea. This only makes me more anxious about the other one on its way here.
  6. Nice, seems like a great combo.
  7. Nice suggestions Sean.
  8. Nick might know off hand.

    Welcome to SSA!
  10. The approx rms will be in the 850-925 range. As for price, we are aiming to stay under the $250 mark.
  11. THat second slogan is heading in the right place.
  12. Man shawn you are very quick on the draw.
  13. First off, let me say this is a huge announcement for our little website/forum/shop. Mark and I have dreamed of having our own line of speakers for a long time. The biggest issue was the sheer cost to start one. Recently we came across an unreal offer we had to jump on, which we are dearly greatful for. My first and foremost desire was to make a great Sound Quality subwoofer that the masses could afford. Also, I wanted to make a durable daily driver subwoofer that could handle some power with out breaking a sweat. The other wish was to have a subwoofer with the ablity to get loud in the right enclosure, not record breaking loud, but respectable if someone wanted to compete with it in a street class be it SQ or SPL. I was able to get that in one driver. This is not meant to be a world beater, this is simply meant to be a great sounding sub at a great price with the needs that I felt people wanted. Keep in mind this is just the prototype and I am in the early stages of testing. The T/S parameters will be up later along with other vital info, such as name and cost. This topic is just simply to announce the start of our little venture. I have been keeping this a secret for a long time and it has been very hard not to say anything. Yes you may see some things that look similar to other subs on the market, but trust me, this is its own design. More info will come in time, so without any more yapping from me, I want to introduce the first SSA prototype: I hope you like it so far, more pictures to come later too.
  14. We will have the prices up very shortly.
  15. Well my intention was for a normal team. We do have a few SQ competitors in the VA/NC area, but they can choose to compete under the TeamSSAudio name or not. But with the new season coming up, I would like to really get the team going again. If someone were to compete under TeamSSAudio and wanted to buy a product from the shop we would offer a discount. We are also going to make a new run of shirts and stickers.
  16. We are actually going to have to make a new run of shirts here shortly. Along with stickers too.
  17. Since SSA is all about the DIY ideas and products, this is very fitting to our structure. Not to mention people have expressed interest in bringing on something other than just another sub or amp company. This could help expand our outlook for home audio. I personally do not know or have tried Chris' products yet, but they show promise and if they work out, would be a good addition to SSA.
  18. Hey Adrian, Tom, go over to CYV and ask the lawyer on there if he knows of a way you could approach this.
  19. It is so wrong.
  20. I feel there needs to be a line drawn somewhere. Yes I understand about the Artists getting paid for their work, but all the grubby bastards that come along with them and have their hands in the pockets of the Artists are the problem.
  21. Ω
  22. That is sad. They were improving under Ford, but oh well.
  23. Well he has painted his boats before, so he has experience, just not on cars.
  24. So freaking sleepy.
  25. I have a buddy here at work that wants to re-paint his wifeys car. He is wanting to know the right steps and preperation and type of paint and so on. As I am not a skilled painter, I thought I would ask the crew. Thanks
