well if it goes into the sled and moves the RL-p out, I want to gain some trunk space back. So that way I can build a true amp rack, and not the chaos that Dave saw the other day. The box will have to be very shallow and can be tall, but just does not sound like a TL will fit in there where I need it. I will do some more looking around. My other worry is that this car's install was for the SQ factor, as it is, with the bass trap of a trunk I have, the 12" tripple slug RL-p with 3/4 gain from the Orion 8002 is blending very nicely, but the output is not as much as I want it to be. So I wonder will the smaller lower power RL-i have enough output?????

3/4" should be fine, but it would not hurt to add a second layer on the face of the enclosure where the subs are.

goes to show that you never know what your going to find

my RL-p loves 2 cubes at 27hz, blends really well and response is very smooth but output is not crazy loud.
