  1. For the record: I already know that Don has a great product ... I already know that SDS is a great company. I've been on this forum long enough to know and understand the SDS credentials.... And I have NEVER once talked bad about Don and his products so please do not think I have anything against him or his products in any way ... I've seen the product in the car audio field and I really like it. However ... I would like to be sponsored by the products that go into this car for the next 2 competition seasons. So please forgive me when I go with my sponsors over someone that has no interest in sponsoring my vehicle ... Nothing to forgive or stress about, just explaining why it does not make sense for a small overhead, small margin, top end product and brand to sponsor. I would be familiar as to why.
  2. I gather the reason for Sean's support for Don's SDS products is due to Don's superior knowledge in the industry, superior product in addition to Sean's personal experience with different deadening products. Don's material and product costs are higher as he will not settle. SDS is a small operation with a very efficient set up with low overhead (I would know as we are the same and I have been to SDS HQ). The SDS system (not just tiles) are more effective then anything else on the market that I know of, and you use far less tiles due to the superior method and application. It does not serve Don any good to be working price matching deals with lower cost product cutting his already slim margin.
  3. I agree, we need to focus on the objective information here and not have the OP swayed by a wannabe youtuber pushing product. Nick gave straight facts as to why the SSD's are an excellent option, and superior choice.
  4. It's good that you are happy with the sub woofer you have, but it is not a fair comparison. What people are getting at is moving to a custom ordered Fi, is a sizable step up in quality and performance.
  5. The sale is for things made in America. I responded to his email pretty much at the same time you replied.
  6. Two big time output installs.
  7. It can really depend on the install. Some guys are throwing 5k+, but each install is different. You can always back down the gain making less strain on your electrical system. Just pay attention to the sub's when setting the gain.
  8. I hope more people figure that out.
  9. Time for a little drink.
  10. Banned. New software took away some adjustments we had before.
  11. Nice, wish I could make it, I would bring my little wagon with a Zcon 12.

  15. Why thank you. June 8th it will be even more. Do tell A few performance parts are finally getting installed after over a year of not touching the car.Several more rotors? Would love a 3-rotor, but would need to be for track use only. The idle and rev is so chunky with a snoooooort BBLLLAT, haha.

  20. I agree. Was messing around with a girl last year that had her back done, very hot. A few recently with sleeves at a near by gym, are outstanding.
