  1. Good, maybe you can help improve the quality and reliability for them. Perhaps, but I doubt that at this stage in my career that anything of that magnitude will be possible. They are definitely not my first choice of employer, but since I'm in the position I got myself in I'll take whatever I can get. Also applying to Ford, Chrysler, GM, Oshkosh, Harmon, and several branches of the Department of Defense. But none of them seemed excited about me so I'm not as hopefull for them as I am for Nissan. Oh sweet Oshkosh. Could you hook my son up with overall's?
  2. They are moving to a new building and its a huge undertaking. For AA stuffs, try emailing Shawn directly @ shawn @ ficaraudio.com.
  3. Have a safe trip Steve, and we wish you the best of luck!
  4. Can I ask why you feel diesel has been a failure?
  5. Good, maybe you can help improve the quality and reliability for them.
  6. Where have you been?
  7. If you can fit a ported wall, stick with a standard wall design. For an install where being clear is a priority, I have never liked bandpass.
  8. There is a sale on Sundown E-series sub woofers (10"/12"/15") for the month of October. Check them out here: http://store.soundsolutionsaudio.com/categories/sub-woofers/sundown-audio/e-series.html
  9. Might have to remind me before I go although this isn't something I'd forget. Funny since I had first heard about it only a month ago. Have you ever actually been to Japan?
  10. Stefan, you worded it so well in your first couple of posts.
  11. Someone please share the DD-1 info on the Facebook 'Car Audio Advice' group.

  14. Thanks for choosing SSA, and thanks for posting your IA review.
  15. http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/ Aaron donates his computer power to work on scientific computations. IE: computer is idle after 15 minutes, so it starts number crunching stuff for some specific project. Thanks. Since I cannot give money, this is the next best thing.
  16. WCG is the World Community Grid. It is a distributed computing program, non-profit effort for many different projects. I donate my (and a couple of other guys help from time to time) computers' idle CPU time for the WCG (and a number of other's) projects through a little piece of software that linked to many different projects around the world that need computing power help. What it does is it downloads a work unit from the selected projects, crunches or processes the work and uploads it back to the project. As these projects are seriously underfunded or just limited money wise, the only source of 'repayment' or reward, are those points. There are many teams through out the world, just like car audio competition teams, and collectively we try to beat other teams based on the points awarded from these projects. So it is competition for great causes. A few of the WCG sub projects are; Help Fight Childhood Cancer, FightAIDS@HOME, Help Cure Muscular Dystrophy, Go fight against Malaria, etc. So the WCG project gives the warm fuzzy feeling because if your computer is on anyway, might as well put it to use to help some seriously beneficial causes. I have reached out a few times to ask if some SSA forum members would like to help. It is just downloading a little piece of software, I show you how to set it up and once that is done, it's a set it and forget it as it runs in the background by itself or only when you're not using the computer.
  17. Nice work.
  18. think the 40's would be too big? those are 38's on it right now Are you even getting 12mpg? Just wondering. I'm not. Lol Well you have a volcano under the hood, would not expect it. If I got on it at a track day, I'm sure my 1.3L could get down around that.
  19. Watch this all the way through. Was going to post it in the what I'm listening to topic, but it is so much funnier here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ktbhw0v186Q
  20. Yes, their internet is down due to the move. I believe it is supposed to be up and ready today. But yes, it is difficult to check on one order at a time as they just don't have the man power to do that often, and we know they are going full tilt aiming to get every order out asap. I understand, I'm just anxious!! I know the feeling. I have held off on a personal order until finals and current orders are caught way up.
  21. think the 40's would be too big? those are 38's on it right now Are you even getting 12mpg? Just wondering. average 10.7MPG. thats another reason i'm going to do the Duramax diesel conversion, the extra power will be nice also. Ouch, wow.
