  1. Ok friends, my LG V20 is past the point of needing replacement, but I have not hit the upgrade point yet. It is coming in a couple of months, so I want to do the research now, or be on the look out for what might be coming out. Due to SSA business, I have to use my phone all day long, so I need something durable, a good size screen to take care of emails and messages on the go, and something with decent battery life. I always hold out to the upgrade point as I cannot spend the extra money before the time period is up. Recent history: Samsung Galaxy (forget the model number). Had serious issues with battery life for the last year, replaced the battery, very glitchy and slow towards the end. Samsung Galaxy S5, same battery issues, replaced it twice to do expansion, nice processor, memory issues towards the end. Back plate split due to battery expansion, ran very hot. LG V20, same battery issues, great screen, so-so processor, decent features, 24bit D/A is nice, replaced battery twice, now the issue is the batteries are not charging fast enough to have anything running or have the phone off the charger longer than a few minutes. Any thoughts or suggestions?
  2. Yes, I highly suggest what Sean is saying. Take your time, as the whole point is to make your ears happy with the music you like listening to.
  3. How can I help?
  4. I've been diversifying a bunch. I am jumping on a bunch of really nice dividend growth stocks that are kind of set it and forget it.
  5. Well if anyone wants to jump into the market, now is a great time after a full month of sliding down. It is showing signs of a bounce. I have a stash code for free money on sign up, and a Robinhood code for a free stock on sign up if anybody wants to join me on this addiction.
  6. The market has been beating me up this month.
  7. There is a 180amp, a 250amp, and 320amp model available. $435, $495, and $555 respectively.
  8. Wow, a NIB Gcon.
  9. That will be defined by your needs, power goals, box goals, listening goals, etc. etc. There are so many parts that go into a subwoofer, each one will effect performance.
  10. No chance I would touch anything CVT. I do still kind of want a 6 for daily driving, except in a wagon!!!
  11. For me? I think of our new subs, the new Demon is very your cup o' tea.
  12. I am not a Nissan person, but that Rouge is one of the best selling cars.
  13. It means a lot to me when you guys continue to use and hold on to your SSA subs.
  14. Mazda3 hatch?
  15. Snow???? Not ready for that mess, I haven't even really packed up the kayaks yet.
  16. Highly suggest you remove skar and audiopipe from your list. The US Acoustics suggestion is great, but let's also figure out the cause of the amplifier failure so it doesn't happen again on the new amp.
  17. @Adire Audio Would you consider adding an online dealer?
  18. Great work sir. My only worry is that by this time you are going to run out of things to ceramic, then wifey will get pissed because her gun has a ceramic coating.
  19. Beautiful!!!
  20. I am biased and behind those speakers, so my vote doesn't count haha.
  21. With the Dcon >> Demon, this would be our Gcon >> Hellion. If you read the Demon topic, it will explain about how the Gcon had a similar life as the Dcon. As of March of this year, the Gcon 12 was our all time, best selling subwoofer. The Gcon, in a simplified explanation, was very close to the original SSA Icon, for a pinch less. A very well balanced and accurate, while also efficient sub that can could take some power while being flexible and composed in different enclosures in both home and car. So the Gcon was our affordable all around subwoofer for many different installs. As with the Dcon, our build house said it was no longer feasible to be made here in the USA. Moving forward, we knew we had to bring back something really strong in the void that was left by the Gcon, as not everyone has the power for an Icon. This Hellion is going to be that next step in the timeline of the Gcon. Both in reaching back to the original Icon and Gcon sound, while stepping forward at the same time. In relation to the Gcon, the Hellion will have improved cooling, more Xmax, available 18" model, option of additional spider and upgraded leads, possible flat wound coil for more high output needs, a pinch more motor force, higher power handling, and a chromed motor finish. With the Hellion, we will be offering 10's through 18's, as well as a few options (something we have not really been able to offer in the past) as the Hellion will be made to order here in the USA. The good news is, the lead time will be substantially faster with the Hellion compared to our past build house. Some quick info: Aluminum 4-layer 3" voice coil (optional flat wound coil) Heavy duty Pulp Fiber cone Dual progressive spiders (with option for 3rd) Woven Tinsel Leads (with optional upgrade) Double stacked magnet motor, with pole vent and rear motor venting Double layer hybrid foam surround Push terminals 12 spoke basket
