A full cooling plug/solid pole, with an "axial" style cooling. As I said in the past, the Zcon is the counter part to the Xcon, and answer to some of the needs people wanted but the Xcon was not meant to be. The Zcon is a higher power handling, higher capable output driver then the Xcon, but I hope people understand our model lines are not a direct line from one to the next. Reason I say this is that I notice some posts with the tone of the Zcon being a direct step up from the Xcon, which it is not as they are some what different. As in the Icon to the Xcon, there is some big differences in design and intent. The Dcon is somewhat like a mini-gen1 Icon. We don't plan to make the same driver at different power handling levels. Yes, they will all share a similar philosophy and very high standards for their respective design and purpose, but they are all different in their own right.

No, different motor structure, which means different motor force. So a smaller, only slightly, box will be suggested for the Zcon's.

It will be a bit yet before they are ready. Heh, and I remember a time when you said it wasnt possible, despite me begging for some. There was some redesign that had to be done.

Box specs for the zcons will be up soon. The suggested sizing will be similar to a tiny bit smaller then the Xcon suggested sizing.

For this first week there is a little bit of a lead time as the initial production starts.

They are coming, the Xcons and Zcons just worked out to be in front.

The DCR is listed in the specs. We get more then enough emails explaining the reason to get one coil option over the other, having to explain more in depth confuses the novice user and would only hurt sales because it would not "match" their amplifier. I will get the product description up soon.

As many as we want, our drivers are mostly built to order here in the US. We don't do overseas build runs.

Was just answering your email while you were posting. We were informed of an approximate 7 days.

Answered the email, but like said above, that appears to be pushed well past the intended limits of the driver. There is limits above ratting of a speaker for heat etc., so to pass them and have this level of damage, I would suggest checking amplifier settings, wiring and box integrity.

I believe Nathan will be back any day now and we can know for sure then.
