  3. Would loved to been able to go there.
  4. The DD is meant to peak much harder then the Xcon. But I wonder which one is going to have a better over all response?
  5. I am not a fan of chrome. I prefer darker, more understated color. The sled's wheels were the brightest I think I have had and they were silver with a clear coat. I kind of what to paint my Mazda wheels dark.
  6. Thanks, I am not really practicing. By birthright on my mothers side I am.
  7. :rofl2:
  8. Just ordered myself a Hanukkah present, a Fi Belt!
  9. Some nice bargains you got there, and some excellent equipment.
  10. Very nice.
  11. That's the one I thought might be garbage I think. It's the Prestige 27TFFNC/G or H1396. It's only $33. I sometimes feel like how the he'll could somebody produce something that sounds good for super cheap. I could be wrong. My only problem is that Fs is 1170hz. If I dare cross it at around 3k with a 24db/oct slope it might hold up but I would like to know that I could cross the tweet a bit lower and still not blow it out. I believe the rule of thumb is 4 octave higher than a drivers Fs. And that would be 4500 for these small things. Far from the 2k I'm trying for. Something to consider I guess especially at that price point. Have those tweets and I ran them down to 2200hz for a while.
  12. Looking very nice. I need to update to 4.2.

  14. Wow, only in Canada: http://www.cnn.com/video/data/2.0/video/bestoftv/2010/12/09/exp.mxp.bison.car.hln.html
  15. Quoted The only reason people think there is a need for 3000000000 mids in a door is either 1. To show off their fiberglassing skills 2. or their forum dicks will look bigger. I saw the black Hummer install in person, (first install ala T3 Ed), what a hot mess that was.
  16. The fact that he went RD is auto fail.
  17. Probably never heard a set that someone took the time to actually tune. They're not a simple "drop-in" proposition. You actually have to work with the EQ to get them to sound right. Once they are tuned right, though, the relatively effortless output and dynamics are truly impressive. The best set I heard were one of the original ID horns (cannot remember the model number) with a mono 31-band EQ on each. They were sunk down into the defrost vent at the top of the dash. Seemed like my head was on the edge of a concert stage, it was that good. I have always wanted to try myself. Just have not had the play money or nerve to do it.
  18. Nice choice!! :fing34:
  19. I still have a pair of those in 10's ^^
  20. Not sure if I mentioned it, but Nitro-Tech and NO-Explod worked well for me.
