A true 2000 watts (yes music is dynamic), at full bore will be pushing the limits of the Dcon's powering handling. The Icon's have greater Xmax, but the Dcon's have greater cone surface IIRC. Both choices will sound great, as for which one will be louder in your install, I cannot say for certain with out testing.
