  1. Ah, a window into Romania.
  2. They fetch mega money. I think a tube is planned for the new zed models.
  3. When I was collecting RF's, I kept getting out bid on 200a4's and the like. I need to start to sell off some old equipment soon. I just get a kick out of seeing the old amps still bringing good money. Guess it goes to show the quality they brought. I always had a thing for PPI since thats what the older guys had when I was coming up. The chrome PC amps are a thing of beauty. The 200a4 I am using now I picked up for $70 off ebay and its in perfect shape. I have a 125aII and 250a2 and I had wanted to grab another smaller 2 channel for the tweets, or use the 125aII for tweets and a small mono block from the same era. All just for the fun of wowing people on REALLY low power.
  4. That is Ferdinand, official Mascot of SSA.
  5. At the moment, the only thing I could see me selling of the ZED built collection is the Planet Audio p706. Same era as the famed US Acoustics amps. Would be a nice choice for a staggered power 4 channel if 5+6 are not needed. I had it in the wifeys old civic powering the entire car. The Gladius/BB, Deuce/BB, USA 2075, BOSS REV-665 and soon to be ordered Leviathan will probably never get sold, or only if the end is near.
  6. Dog doesn't mind the sweater? lol That picture is a few years old and it was middle of winter at the time.

  8. The extent of injuries to the crew is unknown due to the news blackout in the major media in France and elsewhere. What, that never happens.

I would like to get into a few low risk, low return ones while I am in a contract position and nothing is going into a 401k at the moment.
  10. That is odd. Sounds like they might have been opened at Bravox, but were not used. They are supposed to shipping out only NIB items. Maybe because these don't sound used, just opened, they might have considered them still new. Do you need the spacer rings for your install? Im not sure (First time Im going to be installing components) They are replacing factory speakers on my front doors. I will be using Scoshe 6x8 to 6.5 speaker adapters to make the woofer fit in the factory hole. Will I need the spacer? Also, you know, if you were to open a Bravox box right now, you have to first unlock the two little pieces that secure the first cover of the box. Well, one of those two is gone and the other piece is about to fall off. 1,2 and 3 really REALLY annoyed me. These were definitely opened before. Now, Im not as enthusiastic as I was when I ordered them. Kinda shows me that there is some lack of quality control from Bravox. We will see if by hearing them I somehow disregard about what just happened, expecting them to at least work like they should. But this will be something I will keep in mind before pulling the trigger on another Bravox set. If there is any issue moving forward, we will contact Bravox and get a set swapped out. Make sure you take some pictures if it is really noticeable.
  11. Box looks good, shame you don't like it.
  12. In for video of beat down.

  14. Not here. Same here, I'm supposed to get thunderstorms everyday this week. Oh shit...possibly someone you know who's been in there before? You beat me to it. <-- Post whore I am just a little slow today, stayed up too late last night watching old David Blane specials.
  15. That's actually a pretty good price for the 8250 nowadays. Wish I would have bought one when SD had them for $300 Though I can't complain, I paid $135 for my 8240, used it for 8 months then turned around and sold it on fleabay for $280 Wow.
  16. Have not seen to many MBQ competitors for SPL.

  20. You never would have known I was a Steelers fan I'm not much of a gloater. That's because you are way out west. Pro-sports get pretty nasty in the north east. But not life defining as college sports are in the south.
  21. I want a motorcycle, but since my son was born, my internal risk factor went way down.
