Yes, there is a serious adjustment period, and you have to mentally tattoo the course into your head. To the point where you are seeing it in your sleep months later when it doesn't matter. I would love to road course race, but there is really none within reasonable distance of Baltimore/Annapolis, outside of going to West Virginia. I have Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca burned into my head, just in case I were to ever get the chance.

I prefer it, now if I had a race seat and a 4-point, I would be even better.

Ultra busy weekend. Personal highlights were loads of SSA emails caught up, hike with Arthur, rear track springs replaced on RX8, track wheels and tires put on theIS, then taken back off due to a tiny suspension rub, ordered 15mm wheel spacers for theIS to correct the issue. But wait you say, why the F are there fatties on the daily and skinnies on the racecar. Well, the wheels are all interchangeable due to 114.3x5 pattern, and the RPF1's need new rubber. So it is have a little more fun with the daily while the weather allows, then save up for new rubber for the Mazda for next year.

I'd love a GTE swap with some silly T-6 sized goofy turbo, but that would not be ideal for daily driving. Heck, doing the swap in the wagon version with a manual transmission swap too, would be a cool sleeper. But reality hits and I have to replace both rear shocks on the RX8 to get it back to functional. As for the ISF, that is a killer car, but no manual.

Not yet, the latest prototype just came in. We need to finish testing and magically come up with the funding to put a respectable production run in. Dcon is getting some nice upgrades.
