Glad you made it over to SSA. My biased vote doesn't count. But crossing the SSA Evil 1's at 2000hz is no problem, but I wouldn't suggest going all too much lower, I believe there was someone that ran down to 1500 approx with no issues. But again, it is install dependent.

You are totally fine. There is no law that says you have to send RMS power. Music is dynamic and rarely is an amplifier sending out its rated power. That sonic electronix employee could not be more wrong. The Xcon will be back from hiatus sooner than the Icon. I am trying to find out as to when that is exactly.

It is more a thing of preference. The sound quality is excellent for both in the proper enclosure, the sound signature is the difference (I described above). The Icon might be on a longer hiatus than the Xcon and up. So timing wise, sealed box wise, power handling down the road wise, it leans towards the Xcon.

The Xcon is a little more pin point pressure with a smooth sound, the Icon is a little warmer kind of surrounding bass if that makes sense.

Yes, there are a few around, but all were booked well out, plus none have a loaner car and none will wash the car, etc.

If you are ordering right now, it is only LI as the Icon is still on hiatus. But the Icon 12 is great sealed in a 1.1 cube box, I have done it a few times.

The Icon thrives in both sealed and ported, but it really shines ported.

Icon F3 in a 1.0 cube box is 48hz.

The Lexus dealership was outstanding. Out side of the cost to do the work, it was very good overall.

This one kid, happy to be there, little space cadet, had some trouble with how to strike the ball. So I showed him the simple approach of using the inside of the foot. Well that turned his brain into a pretzel and he tripped himself twice. Poor kid, I will try again Tuesday.

It is a massive mental shift for me, as I am still playing at a fairly high level against current and former pro's. At this age, it is almost starting from scratch. When I coached before, there were some basics already instilled.
