:ohnoes9: I have been robbed and had a car stolen, so I know the pain all too well.
  2. Just to clarify, I was not saying don't get Jons NS, was just using the BTL as an example, Jon's NS can be swapped into my post with no change.
  3. It is going to be very difficult to find a sub woofer that can comfortably handle that level of power and have a decent response curve. Wattage does not mean everything, and if this is for daily, there is no need to run that much power. Consider a higher quality amplifier, and maybe a single Fi BTL sub. In the right enclosure, you will be surprised. People need to get off this pissing match about wattage. 11vnetybugillion watts does not automatically equal huge output.
  4. Those were awesome. CAF has seemed like over the years it has mostly become an OT site with some heavy topics in there, with a sprinkling of car audio out in the audio sections from time to time, but few of those topics go very far or get into it that much. Here, guys like Neal, Sean, Brad, Nick, etc etc. the list goes on, the technical aspects are not going to get lost, and people are going to learn as a collective as we go along. I feel SSA is clearly one of the premier sites when it comes to the educated, or experienced approach to working on a car audio system. We have so many people who join up and just lurk so they can read the discussions here.
  5. Brad did an excellent 3rd party review on the SSA Dcon, has a review planned for some Bravox components, so I know he will do a great job if a review is needed.

  12. I have BOINC installed, have for awhile, never really understood how to set it up on teams. Just kinda sat there heh. Also I've had my sony for maaany years, still running great Well crap, should have told me. My team, SETI.USA can use all the help it can get. To add your self to a team, you have to select a project in the BOINC Manager ( in the projects tab), click on the "Your Account" or "project's name" button, it will load the project website. Then find the link towards the top left that says "Teams", find "SETI.USA" in the team listings, and click join team. SETI.USA has a full forum like this one.
