I know nobody cares, but I just broke in to the top 10,000 over all BOINC Distributed computing crunchers world wide. Apparently there is 1.9 million users world wide, so it is a fairly nice milestone. Mark has donated some of his computing power and it has been a big help. I would love to see if handful of other SSA people could donate some of their unused processor cycles towards great causes like medical research, disease research, nano magnetic engineering, deep space mapping, quantum chemistry, protein folding, microscopic lattice evolution, prime number searches, artificial intelligence, and so on.
