Based on your goals, the BL will be an awesome choice.

Why not build a temporary sealed enclosure. Would be quite simple, just need to cut 6 pieces of 3/4" MDF to size and cut out the baffle for the sub to drop in.

If you are in a major hurry, there are other members on here that build boxes.

The three builders on here are all skilled, and worth it. They don't do this as their full time job, trust me, car audio does not pay enough. One of them will happily build you a great enclosure, just give it a chance.

Spoke with ZED on Friday and the Leviathans are almost done, but they are awaiting a few parts to finish the Kronos.

Been a member there for years, and after JasonPaul joined up (while he was still working at Cadence) a number of people got some killer close out deals on Cadence amps on there. Since then, regardless of application, the majority of the more frequent posting members suggest Cadence. Yeah I am sure someone will say that about Sundown here, but there are far more high post count members that don't run Sundown then the few that do.

It is in the Sundown section some where. Many people use slotted and cut sections of PVC pipe. If you can flare the front that will help too.

Any little thing you can do to smooth air flow will help. Jacob did a nice topic on this a few months back showing pictures as he went along and the increases he made from them.

The 1500D is very under rated, it will do closer to 1750. In my opinion a MUCH better choice than anything Maxxsonics makes. I agree. Chances are people are not going to hear the difference between 1500 watts and 1700 watts anyway.

We might not be carrying the RF much longer, as our 2010 prices at our distributor shot up above what we were selling the RF amplifiers for on the SSA Store, making it almost pointless to carry them. No way to compete with the massive on line giants that have thousands of RF/Kicker amps in stock or ebay wholesalers.
