  1. I don't think that review was taking into account SSA and the forum for ZED. though about that after, then realized forum is not affiliated with zed in a company in that way. i was to lazy to edit post thanx.
  2. http://www.sundownaudio.com/index.php/warranty.html
  3. Leviathan information listed on ZEDaudiocorp.com: This will truly be a multi tasker as the options available will be really versatile. Full range, High Pass, Low Pass, Band Pass and sub modes are offered with the ability to have all channels as sub, 4 channels or just two. So the amplifier will do 150w x 2 flat, high pass or low pass (mono or stereo) on channels 1+2. Channels 3 +4 will do the same with the addition of the Band Pass function. Channels 5+6 will do full range or Low Pass (mono or stereo) with a variable subsonic crossover. You are able to: * Run all channels in flat mode * Run Ch's 1+2 High Pass or Flat and 3+4+5+6 in Low Pass * Run Chs 1+2 High Pass or Flat, Chs 3+4 High Pass, Band Pass or Flat and Chs 5+6 Low Pass * Run all channels Low Pass * Channels 5+6 can have 2 or 4 RCA inputs * Channels 5+6 can have their Low pass crossover deleted when used with head units having built low pass crossovers. * Run all channels flat * Run all channels low pass * Pairs of channels are bridgeable for 600w 4 ohm operation for a total of 1,800w - many guys prefer to run their woofers from separate channels as it makes impedance mixing/matching easier. Example you have THREE 4 ohm woofers. What do you do? Run them in parallel at 1.3 ohm = tough load for most amplifiers (Ever compared the sound of a nominal 1 ohm sub to that of a 4 or even 8 ohm sub - the 1 ohm sounds really bad! Solution with this or the two channel amplifier. Run two woofers in parallel on one channel and the third on the second channel when using the 250w/ch amplifier OR simply do the same with the 6 channel amplifier with a bunch of channels to spare OR run each woofer on a pair of bridged channels with 600w to each woofer.
  4. As long as stock lasts or January 8th, 2010, which ever comes sooner.
  5. Is that an I-6 engine turned? VR-6. Not inline and not quite V-6. Angle between cylinders is 15deg. I know the US VR-6's were 60 degrees. But the way the intake runners looked and no seeing any valve covers, it appeared like it was a straight 6 lying on its side.
  6. Bumped the Ravens up one.
  7. I put in my vote. Love the picture, will just have to add a logo to it. We are a few votes away from the other winner.
  8. Thank you for posting that. People have this impression that they need goobs of power to function. When in reality that is far from the truth. I wish I had shot a little video of the prototype Xcon 12 in a sealed 1.1 test enclosure with 240 watts on it, in our old Civic SSA test bed.
  9. Nice looking box, nice choice on sub.
  10. Thank you jay-cee for adding more detailed info and the pictorial.
  11. I believe a couple went back after the change in PG ownership.
  12. looks like that board is missing a few things!! lol! Read the small print below the logo.
  13. I have a few of the older models (125a2 and 250aII) and I dig them. If you have the amps, and they are in good shape, I don't see why not to use them.
  14. Anything can be fixed, determination is all that is needed X2, after seeing what you did with that DD Z1 was it. X3! Shame Adrian is not over here in the states, he could make a nice living fixing amps.
  15. Is that an I-6 engine turned? You mean transverse-mounted. Yes, thank you. Quite a long day and the brain is off.
  16. revolvers are pretty damn reliable, I would much rather have an auto though and just make sure it's in good working order. If I was way out in the boonies... then I might feel different. I would prolly probably walk around with a .44 mag, and a back slung shot gun. Too good for the PP7?
  17. Is that an I-6 engine turned?
  18. Either save up a few more dollars, or buy good quality used.
  19. Unless he wants a Fisher customs box. Y es i want a fisher box. But i want one designed for the xcon and packaged together sub/box to save a few bucks like the icon deal This is something I will need to put on my adgenda. I must discuss this with Mark and Aaron before I make that decision. But it is something I would certainly like to offer. Fisher Customs is good to go to offer a combo with any SSA sub woofer(s). Differences would be in box dimensions, and driver weight.
  20. Stickers and shirts will follow.
  21. Ok, we have one winner, now lets vote for the other.
  22. I don't think that review was taking into account SSA and the forum for ZED.
