  1. I had a dream last night that Bobby Valentine of the Mets, wanted me to play OF.
  2. Well she knows what a Xcon is now ! I had her in there yesterday and asked if she wanted to here it ? she says ya go ahead... i start turning it up and she starts to pluge her ears.... then she starts smileing and yells TURN IT DOWN... so i turn it down and she she says you are going to make me cum ! my whole seat is vibrateing ..... maybe she likes it now ,,, LOL 33hz, trust me.
  3. I have actualy been thinking about doing this with mine. ^ What would be some the pro's vs. con's in your opinion? Well, they are well suited for both sealed and ported, but the vast majority of Xcons are in ported boxes that I know of. The pro's and con's are inline with advantages and disadvantages of going sealed over ported (in theory >> higher potential power handling, flatter response, greater excursion, lower output, less efficient etc.) With the Xcon being a low distortion design, and having high excursion capabilities, it can really excel in sealed. Thats what is stopping me, the lower output. Flat and low is a good thing, Maybe I give it a go since MDF would be the only cost to find out and if I like them sealed I could always add 2 more. Sorry to crap your thread acex. Build looks nice bro. In a proper enclosure, they don't lack output sealed. I wish I had a bigger vehicle for a couple 12" Xcons. The 10" Icon on 500 watts sounded amazing in a ported box. And output was fantastic for an SQ driver.
  4. I hate that mine is boxed up. Don't feel bad, my shit is so ghetto. I have the 880 running into some POS soundstream amp I won on SIN a long time ago. It's a 2 channel amp running full range to a set of MLIs in the doors and some BG Neo 3s just setting in the kicks held in by magnetic force and crossed with a cap at 2K. The amp is mounted on the sub box (CV IT10s sealed in 1.2 cubes) which isn't even being used and is smashing around into all my tools in the trunk. I keep saying I'm going to get a new DD, so it's all just temporary, but I still haven't seemed to get rid of it. Priceless. Maybe we can get an Xcon in your next DD. I'm sticking with the CVs. They work in tiny enclosures, are super efficient, and sound great. If I end up keeping the GT, I'm going to glass some enclosures on either side of the trunk for the XL-10s I still have to use. I did not know you like Vega's that much. The XLs are one of my top 5 favorite subs. Why was I thinking they needed larger enclosures, much like the Vega Vega's?

  6. I have family in the Boston area. They will think that is a wicked badass pisser!
  7. Everyone has to have something to complain about, so, how about Pedro and Cliff Lee getting calls basically in the dirt. Don't even get me started on the breaking balls. Cliff Lee was awesome last night though. I don't care who was batting, nobody was going to beat him. You know what though? I am sick and tired of seeing these guys take strikes. Just pisses me off. Why not just make it two and out? I didn't watch the game but on ESPN it had some update saying Jeter bunted a foul ball for strike three. Why would Jeter ever be bunting on a 3rd strike? Makes no sense to me. They were up 3-1 at the time too. Tim Mcarver was "commenting" on that.
  8. He does make a lot of strange calls, but I think he can get away with it due to the squad he has at hand.

  10. I hate that mine is boxed up.
  11. Talk about don't get me started, holy fudge the Raven's got screwed baddly by the ref's the last two times they played the Pat's. Both times the Ravens had the Pat's.

Why not just make it two and out? The umps were screwing up in both directions, but last night Lee was just too good, not even Duke Ref's could have fixed that game.
  13. Enjoying another glass of Red.
  14. I see Ryan typing, I can guess what it is about.
  15. I though you would like this one...wait till you see it completed..it's only 1/2 done it's running enough area to properly unload with out bandpassing.......this set up seriously dropped jaws and got a ""are you friggin kidding me???"" when the first drop hit by everyone there and the subs are still stiff as boards t Tell them to wait until they break in.
  16. Two missed calls in a row, one in each direction.
  17. Ryan1, I know your enjoying that refrigerator size strike zone Rivera is given.
  18. I think one of my textiles went skunky, but I have not checked it since I un-installed.
  19. Beautiful, I want that wagon!
  20. Trevor, you got to be kidding me. That is outstanding work. Did you calculate in some loading on the cone face as they are firing in and at each other? Almost like a quasi-horn? Outstanding work.
