  1. Is this for daily?
  2. Let's start from scratch and find the right woofer for you. Did you already buy that amp?
  3. I would love it if you bought the Icon's, but have you considered going sealed with your current drivers? The Fi Q's do very well in sealed enclosures.
  4. Umm, I think someone has been lying to you.
  5. Can you describe what it is about the sound that is not to your liking?
  6. No harm. Think about a standard car with no system modifications. From the factory, the alternator should be able to provide a little more current then what the vehicle is capable of pulling. Then think about the many people that have upgraded alternators, they are rarely pulling full current capacity from their alternator.
  7. Okay, try it now. Both the dark and grey skins were updated.
  8. I am confused, are you scheduled for surgery, or are you hating that you had surgery? Had surgery... not so angry about getting my E55 though I had my left knee rebuilt, but I did not get a car. Already had the 300ce though.
  9. I have actualy been thinking about doing this with mine. ^ What would be some the pro's vs. con's in your opinion? Well, they are well suited for both sealed and ported, but the vast majority of Xcons are in ported boxes that I know of. The pro's and con's are inline with advantages and disadvantages of going sealed over ported (in theory >> higher potential power handling, flatter response, greater excursion, lower output, less efficient etc.) With the Xcon being a low distortion design, and having high excursion capabilities, it can really excel in sealed.
  10. I missed it, as I was watching Cliff Lee.
  11. I am confused, are you scheduled for surgery, or are you hating that you had surgery?
  12. Welcome to SSA, we have a few other ASU people here, and a number of AZ people.
  13. Is there anyone else not able to see the "show all" link?
  14. You are getting it?
  15. i dont got a camera so i never got to up date anything but i did find 2 more pics of the box with no subs in it. xcons sound awesome in a sealed box one of the best sounding subs i have ever heard. I wish more people would try them sealed.
  16. You can say that again.
  17. I know you don't sponsor Just messing with ya... I've scene your reply elsewhere. **I am selling it all off.. I know, hence the above.
  18. Make sure you set the gains properly, don't want to pop a brand new driver. We had an Xcon come back because someone just cranked the gains and clipped it bad. Glad to hear you like the Xcon so much, but just wait until it breaks in. It gets better with time. And thank you for picking the Xcon!
  19. If the Lanzar does the job for you with in your budget and serves it's purpose for the particular install, go for it. I like that the model you are looking at has top mount controls. Why must it be 100 watts per channel? Could you consider a lower power amplifier if it is of a high reputation brand to ease some of your anxiety about Lanzar? (Lanzar has not always been this way ) Also consider checking the classifieds here for options. Not to be self promoting, but you can get the Sundown SAX-50.4 from the SSA Store for blow out pricing at $200, if you can do with a little less power, but a great crossover network. This Eclipse is a good deal. Along with this Cadence, this Diamond, or this JL, or this Memphis, or this Audison. They are all under $250 and are from brands of good reputation, even though they give up a few watts to your desire. There are more options on ebay, and I am pondering selling my Orion 800.4.
  20. No dice In both the fast reply and normal reply? Indeed Talking with IPS now, there might be a conflict with a directory on the back end. Either way, working to fix it.
