  1. Yeah there are a bunch with nitrous and all these upgrades to get it to 800hp. I don't really want that. Just something basic, with perhaps a few basic upgrades to get it to 400hp or so. It wouldn't take that much to get that little car moving. Though I'd need to sit in one to see if I would fit comfortably. Having been around a few in the past, I would suggest aiming for a totally stock one. Just too many with people pushing them really hard. Unless you find a tweaked one and find a stock motor somewhere, but that is a slim chance.
  2. How many IAK guys do we have here?
  3. Nice work on the doors.
  4. \I am going to try to make Salisbury next time around.
  5. It is a great car, loads of fun if in good condition and not too worked over by a tuner.
  6. If you are specifically asking about the Sundown, I would suggest asking Jacob directly as he knows his amps best.
  7. Yeah, I agree. That is the reason I mentioned the Draconia, but those are hard to come by.
  8. Marks i7 920 is insane, so I cannot imagine an i9 with 12 gig of ram.
  9. My G4, circa '96 is still getting it done.
  10. SWEET! Beautiful!
  11. Makes you wonder if the Ecoboost will find its way there, maybe with different turbo mapping.
  12. Don't know that I'd be towing a boat with that thing, but they are nice. You want to talk about a quiet ride. . . . They made one in Europe with a small V8. I'd like to get my hands on one of them and throw it in an AWD 500. Same platform. . . Has a V8, another Ford/Yamaha amalgamation. 5000lb towing capacity to boot and with a 6/100k bumper to bumper your damn right I'll tow my boat with it NO shit? Last I knew they were Euro-spec only. I'd like to know how they got that thing stiff enough to tow that weigh. I don't think you'll have to worry too much about the warranty. Surprisingly, as expensive as they can be to repair, insurance is really cheap for them. In comparison to their other European (read German) counterparts, they are really a bargain in all aspects. I don't know if the XC90 has it, but all their cars have a waterfall type console/dash. IT's open behind and it really ties the dash into the rest of the car. I loved the interior of the C30s and S40/60s I drove last year. I still would like an S60R. The S40R that I reviewed for Momentum had that dash. Great little car that is often forgotten.
  13. Look into an Aviator or Mountaineer. Both have full-time AWD and at least 290HP, depending on the year. And the Aviators came with the DOHC engine. My mother traded her mounty in for another mounty, tried to get her to go with an X3 or Aviator or GLK, but she liked the pearl on pearl mounty they had.
  14. I don't like runny anything usually, but on occasion I will enjoy some over easy. Though this morning we had scrambled with cheddar.
  15. Great rig for the wifey and junior to be in.
  16. No that has to come later. I HAVE to sell my car, motorcycle, and wives car first. She gets a car before I do, mostly because I am more confident in selling her car than mine right now being awd. As soon as she gets something that can tow the boat, I will sell my truck. Then we have someone vault the garage ceiling, I shop for a lift, and then the Pantera can come. Considering it's Oct in MN, now wouldn't be the best time anyways. My guess is spring 2011 is my target to be driving it date. I did see a sweet A6 the other day, should have pulled over to see the price.
  17. Haha, not here in MD as I am sure the ACLU had something to do with that. Now they are wondering how certain crimes continue, so they are trying cell phone disturbers or blocks over prisons here.
  18. Sticking with a simple fresh ground cup this morning.
  19. Where the public officials rival Chicago and DC in corruption. I heard on the radio the other day that New Jersey has a terribly corrupt govt. Yes, should have included Jersey in there too. See in Jersey, it is not something they try to hide such as they are failing to do so here, Jersey it is a tradition and expected. Interesting that is it one of the most devoted Democrat leaning states period. I really don't know much about it. Sometimes it seems like the northeast and California are their own countries. But that's really terrible if it's that open and people aren't hugely up in arms about it. . Well I know, as I have crossed this country via car or truck more then a few times, south and west of DC/NOVA, people just assume I am some yankee snob liberal before they get to know me. Not sure how to describe it, but even after a friendly handshake hello, I can see behind the exterior of being nice and having that southern or mid-western hospitality, there is a sense of 'nice to meet you but you're (or ya'll) not welcome around here so keep on passing through'. Now that is not in regards to everyone I have met, but a feeling I sensed from many people. Not to say they are thinking I am city boy that lost his way, just hard to verbalize it. But yes, in many many ways, the Northeast, is it's own thing, and so is the entire west coast.
  20. SSA is based out of Maryland and Arizona, but the SSA Speakers are built to order and shipped directly from the build house in Nevada. thanks.... i am in southern idaho.. shipping will only be 1-2 days when it gets done being built... should be to be ordering on monday.. thanks for the responses what is the best way to order to get it going.... your online store ? or call ? my order mite move up to today or tomorrow.. Just to be on the safe side, account for 3 days shipping time, as I know a few items we have shipped to Idaho have taken a day longer then the shipping company has said. At the moment, the best way the order SSA speakers is through the SSA Store (link at the top of this page).
  21. Good customer service and the beauty of having this company forum.
