  1. Is this for competition or daily? Do you have the current to power an amp over 2000+ watts?
  2. This is why we need more women on here.
  3. so why is the epicenter no longer needed It was meant to restore lost low end frequencies in older recordings. But that is no longer is an issue with modern recordings, so it only adds distortion now.
  4. Progress is good!
  5. Are they more then meets the eye?
  6. I agree. Nothing wrong with it if it works for you and fills the needs or goals you set for your install. I helped build a few shop demo cars with mostly Audiobahn back in the late 90's, the amps were decent, just current hogs.
  7. All fixed?
  8. Check the RTMS. Never been Not for long.
  9. Cliffs?
  10. And this is the problem with audio these days, and why car audio has a bad name and negative perception by the general public. Everyone needs to respect everyone's space, and if your music is pouring into someones car near you, it is horribly disrespectful. Just wait until you have a kid and after a long day you are trying to get your kid to fall asleep on the drive home and some jerk has their crap rattling and it wakes up your kid. See how much you like it then.
  11. Well in the future would you mind spelling your words correctly, we are trying to get everyone on the forum to use correct spelling and grammar so we can all better understand each other and make each topic much more effective. Updated for clarification. As there are plenty of other sites out there that are more fitting for people who cannot communicate normally.
  12. Haha, people dont use spell check anymore. I really wish they would. Firefox does it for you and it is free.
  13. i hear that all the time lol um, I SAY that all the time. I wouldn't want to be hearing it.
  14. Like said above, you will never know for sure until you test.
  15. In a large SUV like that, I personally prefer port rear, sub rear facing for a daily install. 7 cubes at 33hz would be a great box size to start with if this is for daily music listening.
  16. The CRX is a great platform for SPL. Cheap to repair, insure, and fuel.
  17. Thank you for the suggestion. We did not go that direction with the chat box because of the resources it uses, and how it takes away from posting over all.
  18. Brian, a member here is an Ascendant dealer. If you are not located near shop that sells Ascendant, he can help you. As for amp, that all depends on your budget, needs from amp, and what you have electrical wise to support it. I don't suggest spending good money on great sub woofers like the Havoc's and going cheap on an amp. It would be better, IMO, if you got a single Havoc, or went with a pair of lesser expensive sub woofers and be able to put a few dollars more towards a half decent amplifier.
  19. AudioControl is an excellent product and a very good company. The Epicenter is no longer needed, and you need to make sure your amplifiers can take the brunt of the signal strength of the Matrix. Their digital processing is quite nice.
  20. Thanks for posting the review.
  21. if it was me i would go with the sa 12 Any particular reason?
