  1. Email Nick, as the BTL is worth it IMO.
  2. Embedded the video with the tags.
  3. Good luck, would be quite impressive.
  4. please do next time ... When I was competeting, I was at almost every Glen Burnie show. well slap summtin together and get down here and play lmao ... j/k have you ever seen my ride in person .. With the explorer and civic gone, that leaves sealed trunk german's that will be pointless to compete with. But I should come down to meet some people, and maybe find an SSA competitor. I believe i have seen your car in the past, but not positive.
  5. You are not going to find too many 18's that will function well in less then 3.75 cubes. If you can get 8.5 cubes, and maybe add some polyfill, I think you will be just fine. That will be a ton of pressure in a small space.
  6. please do next time ... When I was competeting, I was at almost every Glen Burnie show.
  7. I agree with you, fitness is important to me too.
  8. Wow, very nice work.
  9. I wish I had remembered about this, I would have come down.
  10. That was very nice. Wakeup did the same for me for my PG Bass Cube last year.
  11. Hello Nathan, I have competed at a few of your Glen Burnie and Rising Sun competitons over the years. I have not brought production models of our SSA speakers to any of those shows, only prototypes of our drivers and a Mach5Audio prototype. Sometimes I was in a 92 Explorer, more recently with a black 96 Civic hatch. SSA is actually two people, Mark and myself (Aaron). If you have any questions about the products, shoot me a PM and I can answer them. I did want to make it to your most recent show this past weekend, but was unable to.
  12. 7.4 sealed for a pair of Xcon 18's is going to be tough, as they really should have 4.25 cubes or larger each sealed (8.5+ for the pair). There is someone with their Xcon 18's in 8 cubes sealed per, to give you an idea. Just dropping in the 15" Xcon's over the W3's, you should see an increase in output, upping the power will make a large difference too. We usually suggest going with the smaller size model to make sure it is in the proper enclosure then the larger model in one too small (effectively hurting the performance). With all three of our driver models, it is pretty much safe to assume that if you are not building to suggested sizing, going a little larger is better then going a little smaller.
  13. I totally forgot about this show. It was only 45 min's away, I should have made the trip.
  14. Get the 12" BL, port it in a nice big box.
  15. Keeping pretty busy!
  16. We have three B-stock Mach5Audio MAW-15's. The MAW's have been compared to the IDQv2's with more output, to give you an idea. By B-stock, they are brand new, never used and in working order, but the boxes are either a little damaged or replaced. Keep in mind, they used to be listed on the shop as $115 or $125, so this is quite a bargain. And one IXL-18 in need of a re-cone due to a mis-aligned coil. Because there are only a few, please post which one you want in here, and paypal us at [email protected]. Unit 1: MAW-15 >> SOLD Unit 2: MAW- 15 >> SOLD Unit 3: MAW-15, Untouched driver transfered to a new box of identical proportions to MAW shipping boxes. $80 shipped in lower 48 states. Unit 4: IXL-18.4, Returned driver due to mis-aligned coil. I do not have motor dimensions to find out what other coils would work so please don't ask. >> $75 shipped in the lower 48 states. MAW-15 Stats: Power Handling: 500 watts RMS Sensitivity: 90db (2.83 volts) Impedance: 4 + 4 Ohm Outside Diameter: 39.4cm (15 1/2") Mounting Diameter: 35.6cm (14") Depth: 16.8cm (6 5/8") Recommended Box Sizes Sealed: 62 litres (2.2 cu. ft.) 17. Looks like a good layout.
  18. I am a little confused as to what you are asking.
  19. Welcome to the site. Please provide more information because we don't know if you are talking about a pair of tweeters or components or subwoofers etc.
  20. Off the top of my head, I believe it is 10.5" mounting depth for the Xcon 18. As for basket taper, will have to check on that as I don't have an 18" here with me handy.
  21. Thank you for the feedback.
  22. Running back ups at the moment.
  23. There is a little farm like that around here actually.
