Also, not sure if I want to let my modifying bug get a hold of this car, because I know the moment I do shocks, I am going to want to do light weight wheels, full exhaust, upgraded wires and plugs, pulleys, and so on and so on just getting carried away like I have on a few vehicles in the past (and one present) to the point of it no longer being a smooth and comfy daily driver. Only thing not stock is the air filter.

What you are seeing is a little excess glue that holds the speaker leads to the wire connects. There is a close up shot on the Xcon page showing it.

Here is a wiring diagram. Print this out and take it to your car and match the wires to it. It would be easiest to take all the wires off first then rewire.

Lucky, I believe Jacob's power testing shown that on his Jeep's electrical, the 1500D's will do 1970watts, and the 3500D's will do 3660. 7880 vs. 7320 total watts are not going to be much different. So the answer is which ever is best suited for your space, and if you want each sub to have it's own amp gain. Honestly it is a win win.

Can you tell us how they are wired up? .02 is nearly a dead short. Let's figure this out before we start blaming the drivers and spending the money to ship them back and forth.

I never said that. It really has a great deal to do with the approach, equipment, vehicle, class, association etc. Guys like Terry Brocks are using very small, super strong, massive aeroport, enclosures. But guys like Randy Kubeck are using many drivers, in huge enclosures. Both are using a tremendous amount of power.

There were a handful of hours where the off-line site was not populating the database because at a certain point the database as it stood was DL'ed and moved. So during that time posts could not be saved to the database. It was either that or take the site down completely. This is something we have been talking about doing for a while and will address any bandwidth issues , HD limitations, and speed issues we were having before on the shared server. Plus, much better up time %. for new server. i also like the idea of it being able to see the sight when it is offline, even if we do lose posts. That was only because the off-line site was on the old host/server.

Even though the thread is closed, I feel I should respond to this. Please understand here at SSA, we have a little older and more experienced, and the majority respect the hobby / sport of car audio. With that said, that respect is also for others around you, as in your music should not reach past your space, it should never intrude into others. In this case, that space is your car. And no, I am not playing as if I am innocent, when I was 18, I got pulled over in OC Maryland, I believe it was 54th street bayside, for having my music up enough that the policeman could feel it in his car four cars back. Now, I deserved to get pulled over because my music was intruding into the cars all around me. All I am getting at is that car audio has gained a negative image from people blasting their music, and as a collective here at SSA, we want to share and learn more about the hobby in a positive manner, so when someone comes on here and is disrespectful to others with their music, people here are not going to be happy about it. So just relax, and be mindful of where you are when you have your stereo on. We can all get along and listen to our music in our own spaces.

I still have an ancient Coustic 2 channel amp. Still works too. As for the price, you might have been able to find them cheaper on ebay, but after shipping you probably would have paid the same amount. As for the stuck gain knob / dial, try popping the amp open to see if there is anything obstructing it or causing it to be stuck. It would probably help if you took a picture or two of the internals near the knob for others to see, in case someone can offer assistance.
