  1. Another great suggestion, when I rebuild I would love to borrow one to play with for a while.
  2. Off to the gym.
  3. There is no such thing as underpowering.
  4. Welcome to the site, we take audio very seriously, but we don't always take each other seriously.
  5. The Dcon, RL-i 10, IA LI, Fi SSD, etc. etc. Can you give us more info outside of the amplifier specs?
  6. As of this past weekend, it is no longer storing any amplifiers.
  7. Since the sled only gets driven once every two months, it is always covered, except for a quick detail.
  8. I will be watching. Hoping our lefty hitters will cash in on the cheap homers to right field.
  9. Glad they got there safely. Have seen a number of very heavy speakers get damaged in shipping due to poor handling.
  10. Roger that! Thanks for the input guys. Just as long as you know that there is a point where adding more and more power to any speaker, the gains will be less and less. For daily, there is really no real advantage to push the Xcon past it's rms ratting.
  11. I would highly suggest against it. The Xcon was not really designed for that much power, nor does it have advanced cooling features like a BTL to with stand sheer overpowering like that for extended periods of time. 1000 watts is more then enough power to really get the Xcon rolling.
  12. Because of the success of the Icon, we were able to expand the line.
  13. You got that right. Did you get the wink wink nudge nudge link ? Yes sir. Big time THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hope to hit it up shortly. :fing34: I have StationRipper, but if you don't tend to it, HD space with vanish in a hurry. With only 9gig of HD space left on my personal machine, I have to be careful. I contemplated about using that but I don't want to go through cutting all the tracks from an hour-long track. Also not sure on the bitrate, I suspect it's rather low. Get it fast, I'm not sure how much those guys keep it online. If it works, more is coming your way to use up that 9GB I hope to have some time in the coming days to have at it. And Stationripper spits the tracks up last time I checked.
  14. Yes, yes they are quality This is enough to shut up all the Sony haters : http://ampguts.realmofexcursion.com/Sony_XM-2000R/ I think Ryan1 has or had a few of the ES'. I'm an ES nut, but they are so pricey now it's nuts. Surprisingly, there are a few nice Xplod gems out there as well. They did make an Xplod ES line early on, then they decided to play the ricer theme like many of the others. I have heard them in a few installs a number of years ago. Would still like to grab some for the stock pile, but no money to play as usual.
  15. Nice choice of sub, good looking box. What are the specs?
  16. I agree with Sean, at this point let's find out what is not working with your mids and consider building a new box for the BL before buying new drivers. "SQ" and output might not improve by just switching drivers.
  17. You did not provide what VC's your Q's have. Also, keep in mind, you are not going to notice much of a difference if you buy an amplifier that does 1500 or so watts, compared to a 2000 watt amplifier ('to push them to their full rms').
  18. Check out the info on SoundDeadenerShowdown.com.
