You need to define your goals a little more if you are comparing these two drivers. They are in somewhat different market segments.

So far as I know, everyone who has picked up the combo has loved it.

There are more then a few people who have Icons that run them on less then 500 watts and love their performance. Just because they are ratted for 1000watts, does not mean they need all of it, or even 3/4 of it.

I did not delete it, but I will not stand for that on SSA, no way no how.

They didn't do it right the last time; I doubt they'll do it right this time. The current administrations every growing examples of their nearly total lack of understanding American (or even European for that matter) history has become comical to say the least. Can you say Chrysler bail out 2035?

Excellent analogy, as I need something simple and reliable. You mean overpriced, boring, and impossible to work with. For my current daily needs it is more then enough.

I believe they are thinking about doing a Diesel GTi also. Either way, was pretty cool to see all the sticky notes and equipment inside the car. Mark wanted me to grab the VW of USA lanyard badge inside the car.

That will be an expensive trip up to Anthony.

3.5 is fine, so if you already have that box built, try the Xcon in it and see how it preforms in your install. If you can tell it is craving for a larger box, then build (after you have given the driver time to break in).

Really looking forward to this one, as the other three reviews were done on 12's, so a review on the 10" will be awesome. Box looks great, no worries on the carpet as I know I could not do as good as you did. I am thinking it should be a sweet combo with that very nice PPI amp.
