Denim, Want me to track him down like a hunted rabbit? I can probably find him.... Mike Thanks for the offer Mike, but no worries. Bigger fish to fry.
  2. Already feeling sorry for your Van.
  3. Got plenty of vodka and gin, but no tonic. Plus I pretty much never drink while my son is awake. Either way, just another reason I have to study my ass off even more and pass this cert and hope they award me the position.
  4. Holy Sh#$@#$$@! *pukes* You have teh shit for luck No kidding. But this is total par for the course. If you knew me when I was driving the Explorer daily, you would not flinch at the above post. Just so beyond sick of fighting to break even (read, striving to work my ass off to barely hold on to mediocrity). Stupid me to be excited to make a minuscule performance upgrade with the air filter.
  5. The Icon enclosure is a strong alternative to the Q's.

Little update, I did some more digging and somehow 5 accounts were set up from the 87.118.86.96 IP. I just went through and banned the remaining accounts as one was in the process of sending more spam PM's.
  7. No worries, I know what it is like being held back by the weather.
  8. Any updates ?
  9. To keep clam I just keep repeating to myself that A flute with no holes is not a flute, and a doughnut with no hole is a danish.
  10. Fun story of the morning.... Yesterday, the wife gives me a call while driving (528i) saying the battery light just came on, I asked her the normal questions that could have lead to a low battery, none of them happened. While she was replying to me the steering got very heavy. As she was explaining the sensation, the temperature gauge shot straight into the red. Luckily she was pulling into the parking space at her meeting. I get her to turn off the car asap and pop the hood. Well coolant is everywhere and a little steam is coming out. She had to go into her meeting an she had the car seat, so I was stuck at home with Junior and no car seat, which means the car had to stay over night where it was. Anyway, a co-worker of her's has a BMW mechanic neighbor that has his own shop now. Apparently he works on all the Ravens and Orioles BMW's, and does some work for a few of the BMW race teams. Fast forward to this morning. The mechanic was nice enough to ride out to the car at butt crack this morning. He gives us a call telling us the wonderful news. In order as to what occured: The Alternator died with no warning, heating up quickly on the bearings slowly seizing its pulley due to the impeller not spinning enough to cool it, which could have occurred due to a blocked cooling duct The tension on the belt started to burn up the belt and over stress the belt tensioner This in turn was not spinning the power steering pump taking away power steering Then the belt failed and damaged the water pump and belt tensioner Which finally caused a few hoses to fail and pour the coolant all over the place Coming in right after all 4 new tires, new rear rotors ordered, rear pads on the way, new upgraded air filter, and a routine maintenance about to be due, this is horrible timing to have to get a new Alternator/WaterPump/Belts/Belt Tensioner/Hoses etc.
  11. Great service. I don't want to know what hotel you were in with that leopard print couch.
  12. Nice. Shows what someone who knows how to modulate power can do.
  13. Thanks for being a part of SSA and helping out all along the way.
  14. We will have the Xcon page updated soon. The 1st of those last two graphs will yield a sizable bump in output, or peak around what looks to be the 46/47hz area. The second graph with the slightly lower tuning still has the same frequency peak, but much less pronounced. If you want a more ground-pounder type of install the 1st would be the choice, or a flatter more daily type would be the second. Are you able to go a little larger in displacement? Also where is your LPF set at? If you don't have the room to go larger and don't mind the peak, the 18's will seriously get it done, but if you can't go larger and want a very flat response like Trevor illustrated above, maybe consider the 15's.
  15. The 125.2 is the newer, stronger version of the 100.2.
  16. The Xcon is at home in both sealed and ported. Right around 1.1 - 1.25 sealed would be a great start if you want to seal it. The 1500D is an excellent match for the Xcon.
  17. Got to be crazy loud in that car.
  18. Let me guess, they are using the 2gen old e-class chassis that is under the Charger etc.?

Thanks. The people that have sent me PM's with info or issues (other then the mod team of course) are a help as they show they care about the site and keeping it running in good shape.
  20. Been hovering around 190k are for a while. Need to either spend more on google adds, SEO optimization, or traffic. A combination of the three is what will improve it. Side note, if people have not noticed there is a TAGS at the bottom of the threads help search engines and searches with in the forums. It would be a great help if everyone (as in everyone with 25 or more posts) can add to the TAG content in a positive and helpful way, it would slowly increase the functionality of the site even more. Please just don't abuse it or put in wasteful tags as I would need to waste time and follow behind and delete them.

That is a thought, but in this case, I was not spammed, and I believe they do that so the account is not banned until the admin is notified. So I appreciate any and all info on things like this so I can take care of it as fast as possible.
  22. The 125.2 is doing well over 400 watts, heck the 100.2 was doing near 475 no sweat.
  23. We, SSA as a whole, just pased the 500,000 post mark in the last 12 hours. Something to be said as it is not all spam or BS much like most forums who fly past the 500k mark in a year. It took SSA just shy of 6 years of largely quality posting and membership. But maybe we can reach the 1mil mark in 1/2 that with the growing member base.
