As burton said, the best way to know is try it out, mdf does not cost that much and it is fun to build enclosures.

I can vouch for the first 5 options as they are quality products backed by great companies for sure. I would also venture to guess with 4 drivers you might be able to get a discount.

I believe the build house is making sure they get there on time.

I believe yours should have left the same time these drivers in the pictures shipped. We will be checking up on all drivers that are due with the build house tomorrow .

We do not have an 18" Icon, only Xcon in 18".

We (Mark and I) talked about it a little over a year ago. Have not had anyone say anything since, until now. For the most part, people are sort of using the iHop for that in a way.

Thanks for the pictures, surprised you were able to get that big of a box in there.

Glad you got your wheels fixed. I would hate to have to detail that car.

It is very difficult to get an experienced answer on both as only a very small handful have probably heard/tested both drivers yet. I think it might be worth stepping back and looking at the goals or design of each driver first too, and thinking about which one is more suited for your install and listening tastes. Both are a quality, built in the USA drivers, and both are capable of very high output, but there are characteristics that make one driver more suited for one thing or the other. Either way, you get a very good sub woofer.
