  1. I have plenty of times. But I don't have any clean sound board live recordings. The rest are studio recorded. Fun to listen to due to the high pace and fast transitions. Hard to find good live recordings, the one i just "purchased" is at 160kbps Adrian might have some. No Paul Oakenfold...but if it's any specific mix / song, I'll look in my sources Which reminds me, I'll shoot an email with some new-ish stuff Crap, time for another HD.

  5. That sucks for us all. A higher power doesn't want your build to come through. We will make sure Trevor gets his, don't worry about that. He was one of the first and has been along the Xcon ride the whole time. And besides, he believes in higher power amplifiers anyway.
  6. Does the italicized name mean that someone is in the process of posting? Yes.
  7. They are all great choices, some have more features then others. The Sundown has an excellent crossover network and the JL has RIPS and so on. Not to be a salesman, but today is the last day on a killer price on the Sundown SAX-50.4 on the SSA shop. Not sure if that will sway your decision as you did not list a budget as you have the range of Cadence up to Audison in price.
  8. All are good amplifier choices. The Orion 600D and PG Xenon X600.1 would both be worth a serious look. The Sundown 125.2 is supposedly doing well over 500 watts easy (plenty of power for a pair of Dcon's), so I think it would be a solid choice and you can run it at 4ohm mono.
  9. Based on forum feedback and reviews, I think I personally would lean towards the RF. If you are not worried about the last 1/10th on the mic then the extra power from the Catus might not be worth it. In reality, you can run a smaller amplifier if this is just a daily install, meaning lesser cost, lower current draw, less money needed for electrical system to support. Example an Orion 2500D, Sundown 3000D, RF 3000.1, Exile 2400 etc. All would be plenty of power and provide serious output from the BTL's.
  10. I agree, I feel the HU is one of the places you do not want to skimp on, and is almost worth spending the extra money for the better unit with higher quality parts and greater features.
  11. Bob, I vote to try with the drivers you have currently. They have plenty of bottom end and excursion to be used for home audio. Have you looked into Sonotubes? They are fairly cheap from what I have seen and have some excellent results if done right. I hope to go that route after I buy a new reciever/amplifer.
