  1. Those amplifiers are far from new. This is just another example that so many of the good shops are gone.
  2. Board color and heatsink shape are the diffrences as far as I can tell from the pictures. 90% sure they share the same components. This is exactly why I don't understand the level of hype.
  3. With out knowing much about what the OP is asking, these are they types of posts that don't help.
  4. Speaking of the Caddy and the V8, another one bites the dust.
  5. Okay wow, since he asked about the DR's and LI's. If you are on a budget that will not allow a pair of DR 12's, the LI 12's will be a very good choice. They have been a big hit with everyone who has ordered them. If you have space, I would suggest porting the LI 12's to the suggested IA specs. They have a cone advantage over the single 15.
  6. I vote PG on it. Should be close to 1400 watts. Nice choice BTW.
  7. Um, when I tested the SPL-12, it played very well in a ported box tuned to 27hz. I kind of wanted to hear the lowest of octaves.
  8. Here are a few Sundown items of interest: The SAX-50.4 sale runs until the end of March. >> Sundown SAX-50.4 Sale SAZ-3500D is a big step up from the 3000D >> SAZ-3500D Pre-sale Not to mention the Sundown >> SAE-1200D sale. The Sundown Z15 will be up on the shop shortly.
  9. Congrats I guess.
  10. Can't drive that in the winter. I am bored with the M so it is going. I just don't see you buying something that would lose value as fast as the Charger. Hence the reason I won't be getting a new SHO next year. I think it might be worth a look though.
  11. Well, do you ever go shooting, and you feel you have a well made and set up weapon, but when you get to the range 47 other people are there and there is only one target set up, and for some unknown reason the target is stupid far away? I am trying both the spray gun approach (Contra) and the single shot sniper rifle approach all at the same time. Thats how its going. Pondering career change. what sort of new career would you be looking for? Have not decided yet, but one thing is for certain that around the DC/Baltimore area what I have been doing is not stable enough.
  12. I think I have replied to this topic on multiple other forums now. And my input has pretty much been summed up above. Both the RL-i and SSD are great choices, one can take a little more power then the other, but it really is a win win once you dial in your needs from your driver.
  13. Fairly close to the Icon. The box specs will be up when the Xcons are ready to go.
  14. Welcome to SSA. I would start a new topic for your questions.
  15. Think im want more of a good sounding sub that blends well with a set of ID CTX 6.5. Budget is no more than 200-225 for sub. Thinking of a ported box tune around 32hz. If i dont like the ported then switch to sealed. Vehicle chevy s-10 blazer Of the criteria listed, the IXL seems to fit your needs the best.
  16. Tom has a crap ton of these.
  17. Thanks for the graphic support.
  18. How are you liking your Icon 10's after this amount of time so far? well ya see i havent even heard them yet i have been driving around for awhile with out any bass:( but i finished up my battery box today, and should have everything in tomorrow but im sure they will sound excellent! Build log in the future?
  19. Okay, lets start over. You are looking for a high output 10" sub that will play well in a small sealed box? And should I guess it needs to be dual 2 ohm or SVC 4 ohm for that amplifier?
