  1. Thank you for changing it. Too close to ours.
  2. You would have to double check the rules on Termpro.com. But if you are going to compete, I would suggest being in a class where the other competitors are running a lot less power. SSNW is one of the hardest classes. Look into mini-street or street A. I am not trying to put down your idea, just trying to provide a little guidance so you are not going heads up against people with 10x the equipment and power.
  3. These are still coming, just at the moment our first priority at the moment is getting the Dcon 10/12 out there and getting the Xcon to market.
  4. We are looking to have the first two units in Marks truck with-in a week. So looking to be going good by 2nd week of March, but once again, there are always delays etc. so that is not a concrete date. I know these are a long time in coming, but they have been through a number of versions and changes, plus with the totally custom motor, it really set the time-line longer then we had planned. The Xcon is meant to be different and original (as much as we can make it). In the end, we know the extra time and work is worth it.
  5. Keep in mind, it is a 2" copper coil driver. So he is already really stretching the upper limits with 500 watts. I did not test peak burst power, as it was not a thought in the testing and goal of this line, but it is fun to see it handle some power. But we do not suggest over driving the Dcon's, one because they were not built to be and it will be easy to tell when it was user error if the driver is sent in for a recone.
  6. It is. The Icons preform very well in standardish sized enclosures, but as we have seen in testing and many other people have, that when leaning to the somewhat larger end, these drivers really set them selves apart from their peers. They have the suspension and motor to keep things in check when going to these larger enclosures. Plus Mark is a big box kind of guy, if you have not already noticed. I believe that box is approximately 3.42 cubes.
  7. The 12 did some damage, the 15 with 2000 watts or more, YIKES.
  8. How tired is a dog's ass? I would assume pretty tired since he feels like he has been metaphorically dragged around all day and sat on.
  9. Going to have to get to cooking soon.
  10. After all these years, I have yet to make a post from the bathroom on SSA.
  11. I have not heard back from OldSkool_08.
  12. Welcome to SSA. But your topic will get much more focused attention when started in the appropriate section.
  13. Welcome to SSA. In reality, we cannot give you the answer. The best way to figure out the best result is through testing the different directions.
  14. What is the world coming to, SQ subs for SPL numbers?
  15. Wow. For a pure SQ sub with no SPL intentions, with an RMS of 300, that is surprising.
  16. That is some wild paint.
  17. Stephen is a straight shooter. He really knows what he knows and does not sugar coat anything.
  18. Looking good. Nice work.
  19. Welcome to the SSA. Have you contacted the maker of the amps for any assistance, as in theory, they should know these better then anyone else. But for the SSA members to help you figure out the solution, can you give more details on your set up.
  20. Some of those drivers look familiar to others I have seen on the market, but I know nothing about these new models other then what is listed on their site.
