  1. The SSA Dcon is really brand new to market. The first few bought are en route to their respective owners now. If the Kicker amp is stable at 4 ohm mono or 1 ohm mono, it would be a very good match up for the Dcon's. They are in the general class of: IA 187's SoundSplinter RL-i's AA Assassin's All three of those being top quality, very clean sound quality drivers. The Dcon is SSA's mid-level SQ driver that does not need much power and loves small ported boxes.
  2. Honestly, you are not going to find many eD fans here.
  3. What is wrong with your current system? Also, is this for SPL competition? Plus I would suggest looking into Fi or IA or Sundown drivers for high output 18's. Not to mention the big Sundown amp is on sale.
  4. Ok, so the XT line now is under the RE label? Or is RE now the overall name for both companies? :???:
  5. I think you need to worry more about the install (box design, electrical, tuning etc.) then equipment choice or sub woofer size. There are people doing hair tricks with small systems, or set ups with well under the power you are thinking about.
  6. Welcome to SSA, and yup, Newbie thread is the thing to do.
  7. Welcome to SSA, I suggest starting a new topic for your question.
  8. It just says coming soon.
  9. Per Mr. Incriminator, all 187 prices just dropped $10.

  11. Send me an email and I will see if I have another yellow left.
  12. Its ok. We are about being responsible and respectful with our audio systems. We spend all this money and time to find the best items and installation for us to listen to, not the people next to us at a stop light. Loud is not a bad thing, but consider some sound deadening if you are going to play loud enough to be heard well outside your vehicle.
  13. Welcome to SSA, but why do you want the car to be heard from far away? Are you trying to bother others?
  14. The dark gray one. But never fear, it looks as if the snow on the road will not be around by the time we head home.
  15. I could get those titanium blocks so I can spark the whole way down I-95 then. Werd, and you can scrape off them city titties What?
  16. I could get those titanium blocks so I can spark the whole way down I-95 then. while we're suggesting mods on the car, how about a snow plow? That would be original.

  18. Those are pretty clean looking installs.
