I got a number of PMs and emails though here and a few other sites asking the same thing. But as long as people know we don't have pricing set because the drivers are not finalized, and we don't have a date set because the drivers are not finalized, then it will be easier. I would love for us to eventually make it to 4 sub woofer lines, but we can only move so fast.

From what I gather, the Nightshade and BTL have the same end goal. But with the Nightshade being spanking new, I don't anyone has been able to compare them yet. Jacob would be the best person on the Nightshade details. Very nice! Also wondering about the comparison to the BTL, any word, let me know. it's between the two right now, Ps: Does lower fs = plays lower frequencies better? The Nightshade is so new, I am not sure there has been any head to head tests with the BTL (which is getting a new motor stack soon anyway). As for lower fs, there are many factors (much of which is the install) that effect the reproduction at lower frequencies.

Our hope is to have 3 full lines going by the end of the season. The rms wattage is not set for the prototypes Mark (two 15") and John (two 18") are testing, and the soft parts are not set yet either, so the rms could go higher. This will probably come 12/15/18 in size. There is also the pure SQ line that we are really trying to get going very soon. The first being the 8" a few have seen the initial prototype picture in the other thread, followed by a 10" and 12" sizes. The rms range is aimed to be in the 350-500 rms range. But once again, parts/design are not finalized so rattings and costs are not set either. This model will eventually come in 8/10/12 in sizes. None of these drivers are under the Icon model name or line. So before any repeat questions... No the pricing is not set, we do not have a presale, the date of release is not set. We are really trying to get them going as fast as our testing and SSA standards will allow, but money is our limiting factor as always. All drivers will be hefty in design and sound good. We are also trying to see if we can fit in and afford a high rms & xmax driver, the design has started, but that is it for now.

Just a odd foundation, 1/2 the terrace is on slab other on joist, then balcony's of near by rooms not equal.

Is that good or bad? We are at 93% right now. Each month we chew up more. Might have to bump the plan up again. = Bad Being in the top 100K of rankings doesn't come free 95% as of this morning..... That's Cutting it pretty close! Being a Wednesday, it will probably push us right up to 98% I would estimate. So with one more day next month, and more people being done with classes plus the season really kicking in, we will easily go past the limit. Not a good time for TF, huh? I think we will be ok for April.

Been going downhill for a while now. Yeah, but he's really shitting the bed there now. Are you referring to the paid subscriptions? New banners? I have not been on there in a while to keep up. (not playing dumb, just not in the loop) They were way behind SSA in posts and traffic for a while, but since Ant took over they flew right past in posts and traffic. Could it be the drop off from ECA? Not so sure it is just ECA as even on ECA they were smarter than that. ECA has been slow for a while...

The box might have a leak, and over time, connections can come loose, cables and wear out or corrode. There are a number of things that could happen. But if you feel it was just due to the age of the driver and everything else is fine then moving to a new one makes sense. But keep in mind gain knob position does not mean everything.
