Don't think we will reach a level to be publicly traded. Amusingly I thought you were referring to the company we are buying

it is, but he's more SQ kind of guy. I'm just skeptical whether 2 12" ICONs can get really loud. All the impressive videos I've seen have been 3-4+ 12" ICONs. I know 2 15's can get crazy loud, so I guess I'm asking which to get If I'm going to take the back seat out and make the truck 'impractical' I might as well go big or not do it... -John There are videos of 10's getting loud. Just based on that, it should support the 12's output case.

ssa icon 12 vs kicker L7 12
I will put it this way. Only one has ever failed, and that driver was sent 3200 clipped watts. Meaning more then 3x the rms ratting.

2 10" icon vs 2 10" bl
This is the 2nd or 3rd topic I have seen recently that is with these two drivers. Not sure how the Icon got compared to the BL instead of the Q. Anyway, to stay on topic, both drivers will handle the 1000 watts per just fine. Both can get loud in the right install. In all honesty, the BL is meant to soak up more power and have a higher peak level of output. The Icon, on the other hand, is meant to sound great is well done installs with decent power and a smooth response across the range.

sealed options
well for me and this is just my opinion and how i would approach it..first i wouldnt go with si anything..i just dont like care for the owner, next nothing against fi q's but everyone and there mom has a q..so i would try to be different..next i think rl-p is more sq then output and i know i will get rl-p fans here saying wtf..but when it comes down to ssa icon and rl-p in there right enclosures and power i believe the icon will be louder and still sound good and from all the reviews the ssa icon has great sq and gets really loud..so thats my choice ssa icon.. ssa icon-1 rl-p-2 fi q-3 si mag-4 I just read a review by mrray13 and he said the icon doesn't get loud sealed. Would the q get louder, because I don't really care if everybody has a q. I personally don't know anyone who has them and I just want to be satisfied with what I have because the Perfects aren't cutting it. Ok thats it, don't take this as me being mad at you at all. Just not liking the drawn out negative perspective about the Icon in a sealed box based off of one review a long time ago. For some reason, it is the only thing people can drag up that is "against" the Icon and it is making me sick. I get emails and messages constantly everyday 7 days a week asking about the Icon. And in 3 out of every 5 emails or PM's people are saying they like what they see but they heard it does not get loud in a sealed box. It is getting really played out. Sorry for the rant it is not towards you at all, just in general about lame Internet rumors that seem to have a life of their own. There are some videos of people with the Icon sealed that shows plenty of output. I normally run the Icon 12" model sealed in my own personal daily driver, and the output is more then enough trust me.

Sub list
If I had to choose from that list, I would probably go with the Kicker.
-
are class a amps really that much better in terms of sq?
I forget names usually with in 4 - 9 seconds after I hear them.
-
Aura Force amplifier??
Dave Edwards and I installed some Aura amps in a Z3 a while back. I think they were pretty good.
-
help me decide.
Actually, there are some old Boss amps that were ZED made years back. So not all of them are bad.
-
budget 4channel
I would suggest a Kicker ZX 350.4 or Cerwin Vega EXL 400.4 over Kenwood.

A pair of 15's in that small an air space will really get crazy. I think mrray13 and jntar would be two good people who own or have owned a truck in that years you listed. Not sure if ///M5's truck is that year or not.

MAW's being phased out??

My favorite is still the old Kenwood ///M1. I would really dig a 330i manual wagon, but that is just dreaming and taking the topic of track. Don't mind me.
