It needs the M package! I agree, but the insurance and the fuel would put it out of practical for me. The fuel perhaps, but you'd be surprised on the insurance. No one wrecks M5's so they are cheap to insure. Mine is actually the cheapest car to insure that I have owned in the past 5 years. 60% of the price of the truck. I love v8's and the 540i is one of my favorite drives of all time. But I think I am going to stick to straight 6's for a while. They have all been good to me and my family. I loved my turbo 4, but T for trouble, and the only 4 cylinder big enough for my needs was years ago and I don't think Stutgartt is going to make another 3 litre 4 banger any time soon.

Laid down a layer of Damplifer Pro on the floor of the civic trunk and hatch. Awesome stuff. Back is flat out sore. I want to put more down and do the rear quarter walls but I am so not up for pulling off those parts that are 1/2 the length of the interior. Feel like if I get them off and get the damplifer down I am not going to put those panels back on.

This only makes it harder for small companies to make a name when this is continued to be allowed to happen.

I've been emailing them for the past week telling them that they should warranty this since I used "speced enclosure" and "spec power requirements" I would normally say start a topic on ICIX telling the people there about the problems with eD that seem to be persistent. But we all know it will only get deleted and you will get banned so they can pretend it never happened and continue to their ways. So instead, I would suggest keeping after them, and if they don't take care of their customers you might have to kick it up a notch.

4 15's would be unreal in output. But we do not suggest 1500 watts to an Icon, it is more then it is really designed for. I set the rms ratting at 900 watts for a reason. The advantages for going up to 1200+ watts over 1000 on the Icon is very little. 1200 is just about the ceiling limit for safe handling of power. The the law of diminising returns kicks in the closer you get to thermal and mechanical limits. Are you thinking about competiting in SPL? So as John said above, 4 Icons will hold that amp fine, just be smart with your gains and if the sub's start to over extend ease back on the gain a little.

If you are looking for more output the larger box with higher tuning will help. But I would stick with what SoundSplinter lists on the website or wait and see what Mike says.

Im curious are you going Sealed by the oven or by the coffee maker..im 2db louder by the oven. Using the dishwasher in my 6th order BP.
