On this day in 1996, President Jacques Chirac announced a "definitive end" to French nuclear testing. In 1978, Sweden outlawed aerosol sprays due to their harmful effect on the ozone layer, becoming the first nation to enact such a ban. And in 1886, Karl Benz patented the first successful gasoline-driven automobile. Welcome to the IHoP
As for wifey, when we get in a tiff, yeah for a few moments I think I am the man. I get these self-centered ideas about pushing full tilt on the shop/company, really standing out on my new career, but now with Arthur and Amanda I can no longer be like that. I admit I sometimes function like I can, but I have to reel it back in. But we have shifted into a state of co-dependancey (sp?), me more so then her I think. Meaning for the most part, on a daily basis, I cannot fully function without her. As for advice, I am not a pro, but maybe weight the feeling of freedom and single life and the ability to do what you want when you want it so you can shape your future as much as possible, or consider all the good things she does for and to you, how you two function as a pair and can you really see the both of you talking about retirement planning and a vaction home etc. I did not want kids at all, but when I first saw Arthur and he reached up and grabed my finger (only 10-20 seconds old) and heard my voice, that all changed. So I think I did not help at all other then cause more confusion, just saying I grew up a great deal in the last 2 years and it is not a bad thing.

Ported Box for 2 EHQS 12's?
It is usually best to start with what the company suggests first and go from there. So with that logic, a 4.0 cube box tuned probably around 30hz or so would be a great start. But you can adjust from there to your liking or what your ear prefers. For example, I believe one of our (SSA Icon) customers got the 10" model and asked about box size. I suggested he go with what I set as optimal. He tried it, and said he liked a little less puchy of a sound and a little more boomy (I think street bassy was the term). So, we had him go up .25 or .375 cubes approx and raising the tuning a few hertz he was happy.

1 sub, 1 amp, 1 hu
No problem, was doing my best not to be biased, but it is hard when one of the items in question is your own company.

Doing an install for a friend, opinions on the Memphis 4000 watt mono
I saw a few in competition this past year. I think one or two people on here have one. Memphis are good amps, not amazing or world beating, but that 4000 watt model seemed to fair well from what I have seen, but keep in mind I only got to see a few.

what set up should i use?
ok so im leaning towards the pair of Q's. wat amp would be a good one. just post some links wehre i could find some, within a reasonable price range. If you were to consider a single driver, that is not enough power for a BTL. I think you would be more suited to go with an optioned up BL instead. But once again if clarity is your first goal, then start with the Q's.

Welcome to the IHoP
In a way I wish I was back in undergrad with you guys. It would have been awesome to have e-fwens to help with higher physics and calculus etc. Somedays I miss those simpler times, but then Arthur does something new and I could not trade it ever (even if humanly possible).

trying to compare these 2?
Due to the small numbers of those drivers out there, I highly doubt someone has heard both.

RL-P15 to 2 RL-P12's?
The possibly gain some efficiency, but stick with what Mike (soundsplinter) has listed on his site. He knows these drivers better then anyone.
