  1. My vote would be something in the range of a Sundown 1500D and the BL.
  2. A pair of 12Q's sealed would be very nice.
  3. The RL-s has the ability to get loud, but they need a very large box. I think what might be a better route would be the RL-p 15's or a single RL-p 18.
  4. That is plenty of power. No need to run 1200 to it like most do.
  5. If you are dead set on porting, it would be wise to go with the 15's I think. But I have an MJ18 sealed and it does very well.
  6. Welcome Cody, how about uploading some pictures to the SSA gallery so we can see your work!
  7. With that much potential output in a Scion, it is worth the extra sound deadening.
  8. There is no hype when every production penny is sent towards performance, not bling or chrome etc.
  9. We own our own video site, would be silly for us to upload our own videos of our own product on a video site other then our own, but thank you for the idea.
  10. The PG, RF 25tolife, Kicker, and Sundown are all good choices.
  11. I was there during the 1991 Fiesta Bowl.
  12. Feeling the warm and fuzzies.
  13. Working in the city is giving me the itch to move down here.
  14. Other opportunities should (will) come up - my PhD will be complete by then. If these guys can offer me tenure then I may consider staying. I would also really like to start up some sort of elite athlete training facility here before I leave and take the business with me. Hopefully it will be back to BC - I can't stand Alberta to be honest. I'm tired of paying $200/month for power ... in BC I paid $95 for two months (hydro) ... car insurance in BC is $1000/year, in AB it would be $12,000/year. Forget that. Besides, there are cows here and it smells - that is bad enough. Move here and I can be your VP for the gym. You could teach at UMD or Hopkins or Loyola or American etc.
  15. Tell us how it works out.
  16. You don't have to give up. I see it as SSA is a very tight little community and the members look out for each other. I honestly can say that I have been around only one piece of quality product from eD, that would be JimJ's TC built 12" ED flatcone. The way I have seen eD carry out their business over the years, jump from build house to build house, burn bridges, and make excuses like the shipment is still on the boat or something of that nature, just does not sit well with me. It surpassed Ben a while ago, it is now the small army of people that follow his every word. In the audio industry, the smaller companies such as the ones featured here on SSA, including Mark and I, who work hard to make a good product with a small budget and minimal advertising if any, know that customer service is #1, are the ones who are hurt by the on going track record of eD. Wild claims, big promises and pushy "reps" don't make a good product. Buying the product is a physical representation of support of that company. For example, Jacob who owns Sundown, has sold many amps based on just his actions and customer service alone. Thats all I have to say about it.
  17. It worked, nice batteries.
