IT"S CHRISTMAS IN MARCH!! I got my tracking #'s today and they are scheduled for delivery on friday The downside to this is that my glass isn't gonna be ready till next week at the earliest, so no box to drop them in You are the man Jacob

**UPDATE** As some may have seen on the SA8 presale thread, the original box design didn't have enough port area. We went back to square one and now we are using 3-4" PSP's in 5 cubes. The entire build, from the amp rack, to the enclosure design has been changed. A glass viewing window (to see those sexy asses!) across the front baffle above the ports is going to be used with blue LED's inside the box. The top and front will be double baffled and the subs/ports/glass will be recessed. The amp rack will still use the plexi over the amps and the blue LED's, but it will be relocated to between the rear seat and the enclosure. The amps will sit horizontally and be recessed behind a beauty panel. The Pioneer AVH-P4200DVD will hopfully be ordered next friday (payday )

Right on for the update Jacob I'm in the process of having another box built so if it's next week before I get them it isn't a big deal now

UPDATE: a new box is gonna be built but I still want to use aeros(PSP) for the "look". I haven't got with my guy that is building the box yet but I wanted to run this by some forum members first. I am still thinking of a 5 cu net enclosure using 3 of the 4" psp's tuned to 33hz which would be 37.68" (7.53" per) of port area. This is much closer to the recommended area (12"-16") of port per the general rule of 56% (6.72-8.96) when using aeros. I am hoping to have this ironed out by 3pm before we start another box. I would like to know what the disp. of a 4" aero at full length would be so that I can accurately account for it if anyone would do the math for me Thanks again to stealth for catching the mistake!

They areos are actual PSP's so we'll see how things go. I may have another box on standby if this one doesn't work out.

Well, thanks for the help fellas. As of right now the box is built so I guess I'll throw em in and give a listen once I get the 8's. If it ends up sounding like garbage I'll probably just have a slot port enclosure done instead.
