since aig is being bailed out i would put like 10k into their stock and hope that it's going up up up up in a couple of years the rest save some in case of the next depression that is forecasted to be coming.

what ohms are your W3V3's? if they are the single 4 ohms then it's should be fine just set the gains to match you output voltage.

I straighten back the dent on the basket and mounted it up on a small sealed enclosure and the seal seems to be pretty good. Powered it up on the home stereo to see how it sounds and i'm liking it. I'll be getting 2 more for the old lady soon. Yang

the funny thing is the shipping box looks perfectly fine... except for the ding on the corner but i don't think that could of cause the basket to bend by that much

well i just got my e8 today and when i opened up the package, I found that it looks like the sub got smashed. where the gasket is the outside basket is dented in a good 1 inch or so... I was hoping to get to play with it today... but i guess that's gonna have to wait. Yang

Well i have a Panasonic 6900ub and it's supposed to have 4 volts preouts. Head unit is set at 46/62max. But when i hook it up to the sundown amp i have to crank the gain knob pass 3/4 to get it to fully power up the SE sub at 2ohms. It's set with a 60hz test tone with a cheapy sears dmm. (i don't have an o-scope). RCA wires are from knuconcepts. When i measure the rca volts from the end of the RCA i register only 200 milli volt. why am i getting so little volts through my rca cable? RCA cable is One 5 Meter Klarity Kable Blue OFC RCA Cable with Built in Turn On lead. and i have about 5ft of it wrapped up nicely cause it's longer then i need it to be.

one scenario could be you wired it properly but the label on one of the voice coil could be labeled backwards... it happens sometime.
