  1. is it nessessary to have to use an entire room...i thought IB was in a sealed enclosure that exceeded the value of the Vas...so i was thinking like a 16 or 17 cu ft. sealed for the AE...or am i confused...
  2. i hope he comes back
  3. alright here's the deal...i have a set of older scott speaker....i want a little better low end so i was thinking about just doing a sub...more specifically and IB.....i was leaning towards and IB15 from AE speakers...but my question is that in another thread someone mentioned using mulitples of 2 drivers opposing each other...why? and i kind of wanted a more general idea of what advantages IB has sound wise
  4. yeah i guess he did say home theatre...i just saw he said size was not an issue so a big IB enclosure would work for sure... ill say go for the rlp 18 like m5 said then...it would be a killer i am considering an ib15 just for my hi-fi set up...but i want to know a little more about it...ill start a new post and not get OT here
  5. i have been looking at an Acoustic Elegance subs...for a Home sub...there is the IB15 for 125 i think that will take 500 watts or so...with pretty good low end...not like 10 hz low, but low... aespeakers.com quality stuff from everywhere i have looked

lol i checked it out over there and laughed a bit...
  7. sweet! i love 8s.....will they be as affordable as the current icon line?
  8. i'm not questioning your knowledge whatsoever but what leads you to believe this? i haven't heard much about TC at all in recent times except about their choice to sell AP on PE....they seem to make a good product and have a reputation of making and designing some phenomenal subwoofers in the past there customer service towards me definitely turned me off...try to make me pay for a re-cone because the cone failed and ripped apart like a pop can!
  9. i love TC products but after the failure of my TC-1000 in their recommended enclosure with the power i had...and they refused to warranty it, i would never buy another one of their products...the cone literally ripped itself apart! i wouldn't mind having one of the LMS, 3 or 4 HPs or any of their higher end stuff but i wouldn't invest my money again what's the deal with TC nowadays? heard some rumors about them being broke(not to get OT here)
  10. well if the price is right i'd say go for it... i didn't knwo you had a pre-order...i was going to say for the price you could have good performers i nthe price range let us know if this sub lives up to all the hype
  11. prsonally i'd rtather buy from a reputable company and i'd save my money and get a Fi Q or an AA Havoc... both 15" versions are cheaper than the 13" eDuh! but it sounds like you have your heart set on the av2...you should at least consider
  12. i envy you! i want one i know someone who has 2 12" AVs in a HT set up...huge enclosure tuned real low...never got a chance to hear it before he left for college unfortunately
  13. GODDAMN! looks like a sweet set up altogether. you said you built an AV15 sonotube also? how was that...i heard the AVs are awesome speakers
  14. wow for that price...i may just have to reconsider my next purchase since i am looking for a solid SQ driver...i like my Brahma but i kinda want to do a HT thing with it..........or how would the new Mag work in a home enviroment? with lets say a 300 watt plate big enclosure, possibly PRs? or IB situation? i love the idea of IB but don't know the specs...
  15. wow...that's phenomenal work... i love the mdf flares...i think i need a lot more building experience before i ever try anything like that
  16. haven't heard much good about eDuh since i got into the car audio scene...they have obviously done wrong to a good number of people when there are entire posts about them and their buisness practices(CSO's Ben Milne Love Parade Topis lol) from the things i have heard, i would never invest in an eD product...i could be completely wrong but weren't some of their early/original models designed by TC? and basically stealing other designs...c'mon it's not us being Bias....you go an talk to any of the eD cult and they will swear by eD and eD only...
  17. damn i need one...i have like 13K music but most isn't high bitrate stuff...probably around 65 gigs though
  18. i am pretty sure i know what i did, but have no idea how to fix it...i uninstalled Total Video Converter and when uninstalling, it asked if i wanted to uninstall some files and me not thinking just figured they were something worthless... well to make a short story shorter my DVD won't play anymore with any program i use any idea how to fix this? i already tried to reinstall total video converter and it still doesn't work!
  19. damn that thing is just wicked btw what is going into it already (don't recall!?!)
  20. vegas is badass on PS3....oblivion is about the only rpg game i know of of PS3...not a huge fan of it, but i'm not a huge fan of RPGs either Dirt is a great game for ps3...and Gran Turismo 5 when it comes out...holy chit...it will be the best racing game ever....period! Wii....Wario smooth moves is a good game if you have a bunch of people...besides that i haven't played many wii games
  21. lol the eDuh sub just got shot down i still remember the whole deal with JL possibly suing...can't believe they need to "borrow" peoples ideas to make a product and call it their own
  22. lol i need some motivation...i need to get my ass back in the gym...used to work out 4 days out of the week! soon again hopefully
