Went for a ride 45mins on the freeway resting at 13.9 now hopefully after the next ride it rests at 14.4 i think it was just that the new battery wasnt fully charged It is in the back too thanks guys I havent played any music on these new knu fuses yet too get them hot I just installed a high current fuse holder for the alt to batt (300AMP) http://www.knukonceptz.com/productDetail.cfm?prodID=KNI-11 and a dual amp kit for the 1/0 fuse and 2 4gauge dist block (300AMP+ (2) 150AMP) http://www.knukonceptz.com/productDetail.cfm?prodID=KFX-PK20 for the other weaker amps im using scosche fuses

I just installed a second yellow optima I have my two amps wired and installed I have two extra sets of ground,power, and remote electrical taped at the end I want to be ready to just plug and play when my two new amps come in the mail I'm seeing 12.6 at stop signs and hit, but do not stay, at 14.4 when getting on the freeway the volt meter is wired to the new battery postitive I'm wondering if maybe I need to charge this new battery some more before i expect 14.4? It was made 05/12 everything is fused with knu including the alternator with high current 300amp fuses big 3 done in 1/0 the alternator is a powerbastards 220 amp, it does 109 @1500 (tested) any ideas? -thanks

Q is more of a low end sub and i do not think you will be very happy sealed I believe in more cone area over watts so my opinion is go with the two SA How long have you had your sa? is it fully broke in? Idk about mixing an unbroken in sundown with one thats broke in tbh Why the 12? why not two fiQ 10's?

I went to knu retail store today! There was a guy from the factory there droppin stuff off He gave me two 2x6 strips as a free samples of the new deadener and i can tell u.... It has no smell, extremely thin The flex is like paper after u take the backing off It was interesting how something so thin could have a weight to it not like it was heavy but it seemed compressed I can also report some problems I had today I was missing 4ft of 1/0 gauge ground out of my kit Website promises 6ft, I only got 2 They gave me a huge 300amp anl fuse for their high current fuse holder the problem is that holder has 3 small anl fuse spots not 1 large I called and they are going to mail them to me, Im not driving 2 hours again The retail store had no 8gauge, which sucks cause I was gonna use it for sub speaker wire No kolossus remote wire either which I wanted just cause This wire is amazing, Im having a hard time cutting through the 1/0 gauge with my home depot wire cutters Very nice flex and the razor cutting off of the jacket was smooth

I got 1" tweeters cause theres a spot in my door for them to replace the factory I have no intentions of running the 4x6 as a midrange Im running two hifonics brz1200 on two lanzar opti1232D so trying to use the 4x6 as a midrange would be silly, I know this My OP is the whats the best way to wire these speakers to my amp without seeing magic smoke from mismatched impendance or anything else Not SQ guesses, thanks tho I still dont know if the crossovers that come with the tweeters suffice as a passive crossover? if running a tweet and 4x6 parallel, does it matter which speaker i wire first to the amp? should i be like fuck stereo and seperate them because of impendance diff? Idk the impendance on either the tweet or 4x6 -ty

The parallel choice is the only way I keep my stereo but id rather have no stereo than see magic smoke If I go parallel does it matter which speaker I run from the amp first in the chain?

Im confused as to what else is needed pls ask away The amp and speaker choice is it and cannot be undone However a future speaker upgrade to the amps potential would be nice I dont understand why this amp+speaker selection is so wrong Im going to do my best to set the gain so as to not clip them EDIT: 4x6 was chosen because that is the factory size in the door of the car

Thanks for the answers guys Unfortunately theres no changing the speakers or amp I was gonna take it easy on the gain (i like too much bass anyways) I thought that a 4x6 parallel to a tweet would be bad cause of mismatching speakers When you say add a crossover between them, do you have one that you would recommend? I thought the box things with the tweeters was crossovers (high pass filter) Please inform me! lol thanks

Im wondering the best way to wire these speakers to my RF P300-2 I was thinking the 4x6's on 1 channel the tweeters on another but idk about the ohms But I want to make sure because Rockford is not cheap!
