10" Bl resonant freq
Anyone know how to figure out the resonant freq of the 10" BL's? I know they are supposed to be 40.3 Hz, but I had Fi tighten the suspension to handle more power on burps. How do I figure out the correct resonant freq without spending $100 on the Dayton woofer tester program? I had them built with the SPL option and the flatwind coils if that makes any difference.

box for a 88 s-10 blazer
According to the recommendations in the pinned topic they require 1.8-2.5 cu ft per sub, plus port displacement. Have you got the room for a 4 cu ft box in the Blazer? In my S10 Blazer if I make a 4 cu ft box I'll be going way over the window line in the rear. I'm not sure what a crx style box is supposed to look like, all the crx enclosures I've seen were round tube style enclosures. I'd do a standard rectangular style box with the subs and port facing the rear door. For comps you'd want a different placement, but for street that's going to pound the best. Just make sure you leave a few inches between the port opening and the door.

Whats better then having a 150db+ daily driver?
if your gonna get rid of the 15's see about picking up some 18" T3's. As long as you don't wall them you'll be in a different class than Rooney.

battery and ground question
You should be ok with just a single run of 0/1 gauge, it won't hurt to add another one but I don't think it's going to be necessary. The battery in the rear will be supplying almost all the poweer needed for your system, the front will just give it a little extra in case you run low.

break in
I've heard that the break in period is just a myth. I've never "broke in" a sub, just hook it up and let them rip.

10" BL enclosure
I have a pair of 10" BL's. I'm running these with an MA Audio HK4000D, I've been running it at 2 ohms so they'd get about 1900 watts each. I'm planning to drop the ohm load to .5 and send them more power, at least 2500 watts each. What would the recommended enclosure size be for this increased power? I'll figure out the ports and such after but I want to know what size enclosure would be right for that amount of power.

Sounds like this might be along the lines of that MTX joke, the JackHammer.

How did you guys find SSA???
I think I found this in Fi Car Audios Myspace page. Figured I'd have to sign up, hardly anyone in the Myspace groups have a clue about Fi's.

battery and ground question
You don't need to fuse a ground, no need for it. And you didn't really finish your battery question.

Nice to see you got it already Marty. That thing was pounding pretty sweet when I saw it at SVR this year. You planning to compete with both next season? You'll have to register one under your gf's name.
