Ok this is for a buddy of mine i think he has an account on here, I can't remember though. It is 1 15" Audioque hdc3 aluminum coil on a Sundown saz 3k at 2 ohm, (might talk him into half an ohm at comps lol). As of now he does not have a front stage to brag about, but I'm going to get him hooked up one way or another. He has a pioneer headunit, don't remember what model. Will have big 3 done and a xs power d3400 in the back. (going to also upgrading stock battery, which luckily is already located in the back. And alredy has couple coats of dampner. Box is 4.1 cubes @ 36hz Ok on with the pics. Still have to throw 2 more coats of clear and carpet it, then build an amp rack and battery boxes along with puting the whole install in. I will get a pic of the car tonight.

I have my cdl now. Passed the skills test on friday past the written a couple weeks ago. Was difficult but had 3 weeks of practice. I can parallel park a 70 foot vehicle. And drive it start a job going across the country next week. Pretty excited also i can bring whoever i want with me anywhere i go except canada unless you have a passport. haha

Almost done with my cdl classes. Then get to drive big boy trucks!!!!

That sub may be repairable chop, its gonna have to be pulled completely apart.

First I'd take the sub back out and check the coils with a dmm. Then double triple quadruple check all wiring, in the box, outside the box, ground and powers, rca's. Then take the dmm and set you're amp with it. Take square root(2500*impedance) should be right around 50 ac voltage. You may have a bad rca or a bad input. With switching amps you might do what nick said and hook the rockford back up.

Hey can you use sa parts to recone a skar vvx12? I know you designed it and it is a lot like the sa so figured you could use the same parts. Except I want to recone it to a 15.

Where at in Indy?

I was supposed to go to school at UTI last year in Chicago but got put on probation and couldn't leave the state.

I've always wanted one of these cars, but boosted.

I have a pair of seas prestige alum. Dome tweets and I couldn't be happier with them, also have a set of mach 5 mli 6.5's all on a jl 300/4. It sounds pretty good nice and clean sounding.

Just get a nightshade. You could fit a 18" in there with 3k on it and be plenty loud.

Get the tdi version. They get killer mpg and its diesel so its not so girly. Lol I still wouldn't drive a bug though unless I was doing at least 155db's.

If you're lookin to move a lot of air and get a good clean low bass look at the xcons. The icons are crazy too really. Throw like 3k at 2 15" xcons and you will be happy with a speaker right behind you're head loike that its not going to be super duper clean but since you're doing that I guess its not what you're looking for anyway, as far as sq goes anyway. Just make sure you have good clean power and a good frontstage to make up for the substage.

I personally live in indiana and I know how cold it get I'm not worried about the subs as much as I am the boards in the radios or amps. Things become brittle when they are cold and when you start bangin on you're system things start to vibrate and then you crack a board and you amp or radio is toast.
