  1. very nice set-up. I was wondering when this was going to be built/done.
  2. I doubt you will find one. Just look up tutorials or what not. However, its not easy to choose everything on your own and build it for the purpose you want unless you know some serious info on subwoofers and their parts.
  3. i saw a rat and some very nice boobs.
  4. Well this is a different field and not more power type but it may be something new. sorry nick. I had to share it. http://www.hometheatershack.com/forums/fi-audio/20358-new-ht-prototype-sub.html
  5. dont forget to get a pic or vid of the guy when you show him the sundown and fi and let him hear it. he'd shit his pants.
  6. I have 300 amps fuses between batteries and then a 200 amp fuse on the power wire going to the amp. And yeah, forget the cap.
  7. 0 gauge. I think it comes with a fuse and fuse holder and remote knob too.
  8. http://cgi.ebay.com/3000-WATT-AUDIOPIPE-MONO-CLASS-D-CAR-AMP-W-BASS-KNOB_W0QQitemZ290328712780QQcmdZViewItemQQptZCar_Amplifiers?hash=item4398f0964c&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14 The spec on there says its 1 ohm stable with 3000 watts but its really 2 ohms stable minimal. I have not read about anyone having problems with their audiopipe amp. I have never had any problems with hifonics amps. I hear the bxi line and lower are all over-rated about 25% so you know. I never tested one to know for sure personally. I have used three of their amps and one is in my mom's boyfriend's car now. I doubt you could beat the audiopipe pricing though.
  9. You can find used saz1500s around for around 350 and I think AQ 2200 for the same. EDIT: OR you can get an audiopipe 3000 like me. I have one on two SSDs as well but with bp option. Its wired at 4 ohms right now. You can get dual 2 ohms and wire the subs together for a 2 ohm load and get 3000 watts to the SSDs. I'd get bp option though and keep the gains low. Also the audiopipe amp is only about 330 shipped on ebay with 1 year warranty.
  10. you wasted 440 for that amp. you could have gotten a better loved sundown saz1500 for less or an AQ 2200 amp for less as well.
  11. damn nice numbers and loving the port design.
  12. The rest of your system?
  13. Well with the plug out tuned to 44hz, I got a hair under 144dB on the mic at the headrest and 144.2dB at the driver side kick. This is without any modification testing. Its really loud even with the 34hz tuning.
  14. his home.
  15. buy which ever amp that you can get cheaper.
  16. You better double check their design and build.
  17. Which one do you really want? Low bass or loudness?
  18. search it.
  19. search it.
  20. Dude, listen to the people in this forum they can help you a lot more than you think. I am sorry but it seems like you have very little knowledge about audio. Also, respect others or you may piss off the wrong person and they will break into your house and steal your stuff.
  21. Man, I would have liked to see this set-up at E-town. I had to work so I couldn't make it. Good numbers though.
  22. Do you have a lot of volume to work with?
  23. to the back of the box facing the trunk opening.
  24. The Q is more of a musical sub while the BL, probably what you're looking for, is more SPL oriented. Also, the amount of power you give the sub will depend on the box.
  25. made some holes for the speaker wires to go straight out the box instead of the port because the amp's connections are on different sides now.
