  1. The Mastech doesn't have DC current
  2. XCON's are insane, man. I love mine as well. So violent and clean.
  3. Install looks great man, the XCON's are enormous heavy beasts.
  4. THE T-1500 IS WORTH THE MONEY!! I have it on my BL it puts out 1800 WRMS at 1 ohm. just an amazing amplifier. The sub handles it like a champ as well. this combo is very impressive IMO. Go to ebay and you can get one for about 450$ great amp. but you could probly get a sundown 1500 for that price as well some where..... Get the RF if you have the funds. The BL will take it fine if you're good on the gain setting
  5. What's the question? It's within the Fi specs.... Of course it's fine man.
  6. My post was deleted in this thread?
  7. Check out Nate from Excessive Amperage, he can probably help you out with the alt. As for the kinetiks, there are many cheaper options out there (such as Deka, Sprinter, Powermaster, etc.) if planning on buying new.
  8. SSA Customer service > all
  9. What was the resolution to the problem here?
  10. Haha, comes in here to say they're different and doesn't say what makes them different.
  11. Interested in hearing more opinions on this. Keep in mind the XCON is rated at a conservative 1750w and cost about $50 more after shipping.
  12. I'm a little worried about the BL's handling 1500w each being in a relatively small ported enclosure (4cu. net). I'd be more comfortable running XCON's because I wouldn't need to worry about them getting the power, but also they are about 150 bucks more shipped total which is quite a chunk of cash if it won't be a very noticeable difference in output. I'm preferring 50/50 SPL/SQ so I think the XCON is a better fit for my needs, but the pricing on it is just a lot more than the BL and I'm not even sure if I'd notice that big of a difference. Is there a common agreement that the BL's with cooling and flatwind will handle 1500w each for daily?
  13. Looking for a 12" sub that can handle 1500w daily like champ and be fine in a slightly smaller ported enclosure tuned in the lows 30's. Looking for mainly SPL right now. This is just for daily, no competitions will take place. Looking to keep the price under $700 for the pair if possible. Need to buy them new. 12" XCON? 12' Nightshade? 12" BTL? 12" HW? I like good customer service and subs that have good information available about optimal enclosure sizes.
  14. This is how not to make a first post on a forum. Don't be ghetto. Do it right. Haha. Ok. Because it is so inefficient to use the battery as a distro. right? Obviously you would use an in-line fuse for each of the amps. I see no need for a Distro Block, Especially for the grounds. Run both amp grounds directly to the rear battery (-) terminal which should be in parallel with the under hood battery. You're not making friends here. Back off. You see no reason for a distro for the grounds because you've probably never used one properly. I didn't say it was inefficient to use the battery as a distro.. just that it wasn't the right way. Roger that.
  15. I've read bad things, but have no personal experience. I'd stick with Ohio Gen or HO Alt. Maybe Iraggi or EA if you're feeling good. I have an EA and it works just fine, just no charge at idle which is pretty much expected if you don't want to use a smaller pulley and shorten the life of the alt.

  17. Hell yeah man. Let us know how they sound.
  18. Just use the second battery as a distro. No need to make things more complicated than they are.
