  1. Lookin' good so far! I just got my 2nd bird a month ago....'93 supercoupe
  2. If you run it passively, yes. Actively you would want a 4 channel amp. (100.4?)
  3. Quality is subjective.
  4. Eh, I wouldn't risk it. Why don't you get 2 woofers that allow you to wire them in at 8 ohms?
  5. Haha, how long does your battery last on that thing?
  6. Yeah, why not! Lets have one!
  7. That's pretty ghetto.
  8. You should get a wagon to pull around and toss a sub woofer in there for your bass.
  9. My buddy has a w6 and I'm in looooooooove with it.
  10. Let me see some pictures. I remember some of these around when I was in middle school.

    Very clean! I like it!
  12. I would disconnect the rears completely. Active the signal is processed before amplification. Passive the signal is processed after amplification. If you want to run a tweeter and mid in each door (4 total speakers) you need for channels of amplification for active. Passive you will only need two.
  13. 1) Fi Q 12" ( Dual 1 or 2)? -d2 2) 1-1.5ft Sealed ( Advise for size or difference between 1 and 1.5 ) -I built mine to 1.2 when I had my Q....I liked it. 3) Sundown SAE-1000d or RF P1000BD (Don't Know which is best) -I'd go with sundown. 4) Speakers to replace stock - ALPINE-SPR-17S Comps -Check out Hybird Audio on these forums. I've heard nothing bad about them! 5) Need an amp to run them (Undecided) -i'd pick up a sundown 100.2 if you want to run passive 6) Some chitty 6x9's to run of HU 50 watt ones cuz they suck anyway. Get like 20 watts to em? -I assume this is rear fill. In which case, I would just ditch those and spend the money on a nice set of front speakers.
  14. Haha, yeah, way to vague. Let's have some more info!
  15. I think what you're looking for is something to get pretty loud, but not sound like absolute crap. First off, what is your budget?
  16. I don't think a crappy prefab box will do it justice though. Build two boxes so you can swap it whenever you want!
  17. How'd they break?
  18. What subs did you get?
  19. Ehhh..... :edit: Check Shizzzon's build log for aq2200
  20. Suuuuuuuuuhweeeeeeeet. I truly envy your talent!

That's awesome....more or less what I'm going for. I'll probably order the CD player and speakers today or tomorrow....I'll keep you all updated

Haha, there is no alt on it. It's just battery operated and charges ac->dc. I was going to come off the back of the trailer hitch and mount the cd player/battery/speakers in a fiberglass enclosure. He's only 100lbs so weight isn't really an issue...lol.

Yes, it is a 12volt system. I wanted to do the stereo on a completely different battery that doesn't, in anyway, tie into the scooters.
