I was reorganizing the freezer last night and left a pizza on top overnight after I forgot about it. I hate throwing away food.

And not realists. They all have big ideas on how to make things better, but 95% of the time it just screws it up worse. Plus too many want to hold people's hand, forgive them of their wrongs, and help them out. Dammit they made those bad decisions. Let them reap the consequences. You just described pretty much every liberal I know Yeah. and that's the problem.
  3. Many manufacturers recommend tuning that high. Most kids that buy stuff just want SPL, so they recommend tuning frequencies that will help them with that. Even if it makes the sub sound terribly peaky and with little lowend extension.
  4. That amp is only 800 watts RMS. If you want a good Orion 2 channel amp, go back in the old days of the red HCCA and G4 amps. They are underrated by nearly 100% and can go down to 1 ohm bridged.
  5. I tried learning spanish in both high school and college, with two classes in each, and just didn't work very well. I'm not good at it. Great at english, just can't learn anything else I guess.
  6. Isn't that where he basically gets all of his parts from anyways? Just scrounges stuff up.
  7. Have you tried freetranslation.com? The only thing is that sometimes it doesn't get words with double meanings correctly, like "back."

Refreshing to see the Obama administration do something right... Abstinence and unplanned or single parenthood programs were the first to be cut in Kansas when the budget deficit was announced like a year ago.

I only work for free for a select few people, everyone else gets charged. minji and i had an all out brawl over that shit, i worked my ass off changing the water pump on her piece of shit ml350 and i swear she did nothing but bitch the whole fucking time. i actually threw everything down and told her to go fuck herself and have someone else finish the work at one point. from now on i absolutely refuse to work on the vehicle of a girl i am fucking. I will however the fuck the girl whose car i am working on. I changed the oil twice on my bitch's Odyssey, cleaned it several times, and waxed it when we first got it. That was damn near two years ago. Just last month, she finally cleaned the windshield for the first time. It has multiple issues it needs to go to the dealer for since we bought it, but it has yet to go there. She's never washed it, checked the oil, washer fluid, or anything else. Pathetic. I now refuse to work on it. She just has no clue. And she bitches when I clean my tractor after using it. They just don't understand maintenance and how nice and easy it is to work on something that's clean. I tried to teach my ex just basic shit, like just watching the gauge cluster to make sure things are in normal ranges. Ruined a motor because it seized due to no oil. You know the pressure gauge had to be low for a noticeable amount of time. Hell she even neglected the gas gauge and ran out of gas multiple times. She just expects somebody will always be there to take care of it for her, because as of then they had. Never washed it, never vacuumed it or anything. The times when I had to go jumpstart it for her during the winter she was always just pissed off because she hated the cold, and of course would project it on me. Well, if you had fixed the switch in your door that turns the dome light on/off like I had told you 17 times, we wouldn't be out here. Of course any time I tried to teach her something, even about simply checking the oil, it was "I don't care" and a walk away. I don't see how you don't want to at least learn the basics of something you use every day, whether that be your car, computer, oven, whatever.

If it were me, I wouldn't even talk to those people anymore. I command decency of those that I associate with.

I called this BS like three months ago. My boss was sick most of last week, had a 103* temperature. He called the doctor but they said unless he gets respiratory distress to not even come in. He had that temperature Tuesday through Friday, and took off work tuesday, thursday, and friday. The wednesday he didn't take off was because he came into work to drive 5 hours each way to a project with me, in the same vehicle. he was popping cough drops like candy. Yet I didn't get sick. Go me.

ORLY? Doesn't the entire definition of paying somebody mean you're hiring them? Where did that quote come from?
  14. Might help to be more specific about the popping noise. Is it just a tapping sound, a dull sound, a sound like metal crashing, etc.? How did you set your gain? What other settings do you have on the head unit and amp and how are they adjusted? Does it happen on all frequencies or only certain ones? Is the sub moving a lot when it happens?
  15. x2, the smartest advice given in this post so far. what do you mean x2. More like xeleventybillion, the only clarification I'd throw out there is that by home audio amp Nick was referring to a Pro Audio amp with a 110v power source. (or 220 if the OP is in Europe) Ah, indeed.
  16. Do we really need one of these threads every two weeks anyways? No.
  17. 2600? Do you have test results to back that up? I assume that's with 16 volts maybe? In Jacob's power testing, found here: he got 1970 watts from the 1500D. But I notice the SAE1200D did do the 1700 you mentioned. I forgot that was in there, and thought I just remember the 1300 RMS from somewhere else.
  18. It was just an MTX Thunderform that we bought. I'm not sure if MTX makes them anymore. I'd just go to your local hardware store, find some metal tubing, and cut it yourself. I'm not really sure how thick the walls of the tubing was, maybe 1/8"? Somebody with more knowledge of load handling properties of that tubing could probably give a better estimate. Then just find some longer bolts that have the same thread pattern as your stock seat bolts. Really shouldn't cost you more than 10 bucks or so I'd think.
  19. Both are good amps, but I don't believe the SAE1200D puts out more than 1200-1300 watts. The SAZ1500D will put out about 1700 though.
  20. Well, if you're up for experimentation, may as well try that.
  21. Sounds like something may have arced the + and - terminals and shorted the battery out on itself?
  22. Without T/S it's pretty hard, as M5 said before. How big of a box can you make with the wood you have? What are the specs of the box that the Yamaha is in now? Maybe that would help, or at least give ideas of what a new box could improve over the old one.
  23. I think you could get away with one 4" aeroport, or 20 sq. inches if you do a slot port. The problem with these small boxes with low tunes is the incredibly long ports they require. Many times the port takes up as much volume as the subs' space. Just make sure that you have a subsonic filter on these if you have anything playing below 25 hz. These boxes make the power handling drop off super quick below tuning. For instance, at 20 hz winISD shows they can only handle 20 watts apiece.
